Don't know who that is, and don't know why you have a beef. All I know is there are people out there that wants an invisible shield as an option.

Rather not.. but maybe they can make the arm guards suggested here or an emperor like shield that becomes visible on blocks and shield bashes (imagining something similar to scifi spaceship shields and mage shields like Skyrim or Dark Souls Dark Hand).

But I'd rather not see a completely and always invisible shield. Just my personal preference.

Seems derpy. They give us an inch with these Emperor's new items and now everyone wants one for everything they can think of. I'm siding with no... Theres a point where requesting invisible things becomes stupid. I recall a request for invisible weapons at one point... just silly. (Minus MNK, which would actually make some sense at least...) It would also be weird problem Shield Bashing or Shield Tossing with no shield... Just backhanding and throwing air? As funny as a Backhand+Stun would be with an invisible shield.

I'm not often against things in the name of fun, but there does need to be a line.

Would atleast like an armguard, like Lightning's SOLDIER gauntlet in Lightning Returns: FFXIII. That would be nice. Only thing that wouldn't make sense would be shield lob, but...

Shield Lob already doesn't make sense. Shields aren't boomerangs! Stop throwing your shield! Why is this rematerializing?!

Don't see why not. Considering that Shield Lob throws your shield at the enemy, it makes even less sense to have it magically back in your arm.

I suspect the idea is that the shield is being lobbed and rebounding back to gladiator after striking its target, Captain America style.

Yes, Gladiators are just that skilled. There are so many crazy moves the different classes in this game have, what's one more?

I think some of the folk here forgot, we are not removing shield altogether. If you don't like the invisible shield then just don't glamor it lol.

Simply take it off if you want it invisible. Why would a PLD not show a shield when that's the main part? You can either go as Warrior or wait for Dark Knight.

What's a PLD without a shield? If they make the shield invisible, the rest of the weapons can be made invisible too. Great, I will just make my spear invisible and become an acrobat.

The problem is that armor is not essential to animations, while a shield is. It's like removing an a WAR's axe but keeping the animations. It would look stupid.
