BCOB now tough to enter / impractical to farm

Exactly as the subject goes. Unless we're speaking T4 which is fast and easy, even queuing into other turns can take a ridiculous amount of time (like, Cape Westwind ridiculous) even if you're a healer or a tank. The problem? Well the gear you can get from it just doesn't match the effort of obtaining it anymore. I'm not talking about T5 success rate here - on Elemental, it's pretty decent. Allagan mats did very little to incentivize people to run BCOB again, because T4 exists. Basically if you want Allagan gear for glamour (or desynthesis), you're gonna have some hard time. And a lot of hard time.

I think it's about time to maybe make it the original coil 4-man? Or make the respective gear obtainable through other venues? Or make it a continuous instance again? Or somehow compel people to run it?

A coil roulette for 1,2, and 4 would help some but that doesn't seem like enough content for a roulette. Or add something to those turns for the next relic step similar to the RNG dungeon drops of the current step. The whole relic quests purpose is to keep old content alive after all. Other than that I don't know what they could do to give people incentive to go back to that.

A raid roulette for all coil and EX primals would help.

If the CT weekly succeeds at what they're trying to do (make people go back to ct and st again), I think doing the same thing to coil might work?

Clear turns 1-5 once a week = tome
Clear turns 6-9 once a week = twine

I'd be so over that.

To those saying the relic should involve the coils: they specifically stated they want the coils and relics to be separate. One would not require the other. So it'll never happen, even if first and second coils are ridiculously easy now.
And before you bring up light, keep in mind literally everything in the game except low level maps and hunts give light.

T5 can be in Trial Roulette.

and why ppl will withdraw from T2? it will take less time than many of high level dungeons.

Arguing over whether or not to utilize the enrage strategy + the "build your encounter" format that turn uses may differ with another player's methods.

The only way people who would participate in this (roulette of some sort) is if it offers some extravagant reward. There's zero chance a sizable portion of the community that can would run for some arbitrary reward like 100 soldiery. People still fail Titan HM.

Oh there will be enough people be up for such a roulette BCOB SCOB EX and it would after a while stop runsellers. It took a month or so for ppl stop selling Titan Hm after trial roulette been added and enough ppl were comfy enough with the fight and I'm pretty sure same will happen sooner or later for each bit of suggested roulettes (also add Ultima finaly somewhere!!).
The current partyfinder full on **** SELLING BLAH BLAH BLAH **** where now even social FCs (Im disgusted) partake on my server hurts my eyes and make people by default doubt ANY going for kill partyfinders sadly. The mix of ppl that have 50+ kills on some content and new players is what we want and not on light/mats/tank achievement farmers in T4.
And if you dont do for tomes then for fun or add (another) currency like roulette points which u can exchange eg for those upgrade items, alex or whatever SE wanna think of (and if it is glamour gearsets ppl will want it).

this idea has come up a few times (granted i made that before ScoB and didn't really think well on the point allocation but still its the same idea (plus i love the name the binding roulette of bahamut)

i never had the doubt that Rouletting this is a new idea. I enjoyed the idea of roulette from start (dislike the only 3 dungeons for expert only though) and it is ABOUT TIME TO FINALLY ADD RAIDCONTENT. And it is really the solution to the unliked runselling. It wont be a 0-> 100% solution from the start but increased pretty sure DF successrates and help ppl to get deeper into content.

SE won't even put Ultima HM in Trial Roulette because it requires too much player coordination. Can you just imagine what would happen if the sort of folks who get regularly punted off the edge by Titan HM had to deal with conflags and twisters?

I've been stucked on T5 for 2 months only using DF. 90% of groups fail at divebombs. It's a real nightmare. Then I start using PF, asking for 1 one shot only/experienced/have cleared just to get more fails at divebombs/twisters. No, believe me, you don't want T5 on any roulette at all.
DFing T6 is so easy compared to Twintania.

Me wantz everything in a roulette D:
1. It is fun even if you can wipe
2. I remember the days they added trial roulette it was back in the days when Titan HM still was hard (And still parties in i110+ wipe it XD) and stuff like ramuh was often a wipefeast if you hit too many firsttimers - but helping out and having a win in the end is the reward you want
3. Lets say it would take 1 month maybe 2 and people can finally get T5 DF wins

To save t1 t2 and T5 is to bring unique items or mats to make it farmable. Put carbontwine or carboncoat and you will see an avalanche of people farming 24/7
