Carboncoat/Carbontwine now being sold

Anyone know how much Aelina (and what she takes for them) sells these items for?

They cost 4/6 of the new mark logs (as appropriate).

These logs cost 500 Allied Seals, as opposed to the blood-splattered's 250. (You can get the new mark logs as random hunt drops)

be prepared to do a lot of hunts lol

Wait so this stuff doesn't drop from WoD?

so they doubled the hunts rewards, but also doubled the number of books required? So a net even?

no, WoD is only for 120 Armor. there's also a Weekly quest to get a Carboncoat, you have to complete CT, ST and WoD.

nope, new logs also cost double, so it's double the effort.

Brilliant! Thank you. Guess I will be doing many more hunts. It's nice that they've added a second way to get these items. While I would love to do coil for the story, chances are I will never clear that content. Now if only we could get the Encrypted Tomestones another way…

That's pretty reasonable I guess. I wasn't sure I was prepared to see everybody being 130 so easily.

The devs are probably trying to get everyone geared up to i120-i130 for the coming expansion. As a casual player (life gets in the way) I fully support this.

I do too but I guess if WoD had dropped the items from the very start though, everyone would get to 130 quicker than they want us to

I've got no problem with having to work for it through Allied Seals and the new weekly quest for WoD. I am actually looking forward to running LotA again.

If you need i120-i130 for the expansion I feel sorry for new players that have not gotten to 50 when it hits. Which means they are stuck on 50 content for a while untill they can move forward.
Personally I dont think you need that much ilvl for the expansion. It seems very unreasonable.

You're probably correct. It would be unreasonable to require i130 gear to enter the expansion, but I still think that this is a good way to accelerate iLevel for casual players.

Since the level cap is increasing in the expansion. I would think most current gear will become obsolete compared to whatever new tombstone equivilent gear is released. I also wouldnt be surprised if they overhauled the ilvl system. At the rate its going, we will be ilvl 1000 before level 100.

any idea on the drop rate of the books from hunts?

No problem doing ST and WoD forthose, but LA... I don't think it's worth that effort. Rather do hunts.

Doing those 3 every week for a carboncoat is far easier and less time consuming than hunts. Did you see the prices? For just 1 carboncoat it would cost 2000 seals. That's 2000 seals you could have put towards the carbontwine instead which costs 3000 seals. Say someone is really unlucky and doesn't get any logs to drop from hunts. That is 18,000 for left side and another 10,000 for jewelry. That's alot of hunts for 1 set of gear.

yall are silly do one while waiting for the other ^_^

And no word on any alternate methods of getting the encrypted tomestone as of yet
