Pretty similar to the default UI, just with a butt-ton of hotbars.

I get rather annoyed having the party list next to my char. I know most healers say it helps but it doesn't help me, because it's only useful when you're healing. I swap between heal and dps classes, and I'm not keeping the party list next to my BLM and blocking my view. So it's more catastrophic if I keep trying to look at the wrong area because of moving it between classes. I don't get hit by things and I don't miss anything by glancing back and forth, so it's no issue for me.
Bumping the thread.
Full controller. For dps and tank classes that need more ogcd timer display that doesnt need to be so close to the party list, it's centered right below the target bar (I don't display other ally's debuffs so it doesnt overlap), albeit smaller than the ones right next to the party list.

I do prefer 2 separated chat logs in all MMOs, & a minimap with full control rather than a simple, kind-of-useless radar. The map is turned on all the time :p

The proc hotbar next to the party list is only shown during party content when I need to, controlled using the two macro buttons at the bottom of the screen.
Ideally I'd love to have a proc notice mechanism but it seems SE only likes to provide minimal levels of customization...
I find it hard to heal and keep an eye on the battlefield at the same time if I have my party list on the top-left. How do you usually target your heals? By clicking on actual player models or mostly by clicking on the party/alliance list? I've been trying to get rid of the party list but often when people are bunched together my clicks land on someone else, or when they are moving across the screen, my clicks just can't catch them. I've always felt that I have a problem with my hand-eye co-ordination. :(

I really like centralized, minimalistic UIs. Remove useless clutter, especially for battles so that you can better focus on the action. That's another reason for the unit frames in the center of the screen, so that I can see what's going on without having to look away from the battle. Keep all of your abilities keybound and memorize them so that you don't need to dart your eyes around unnecessarily, and move them far enough away that you can still see a big enough portion of the screen while still being able to see your procs.
On the topic of UI's, I am really looking forward to addons. As much as people hate on WoW, it was one of the best features of the game IMO. The level of UI customization was incredible, and addons like PowerAuras and DoT trackers/timers were so, so very useful. I became hooked on centralized UIs when I began customizing my own UI, trying out different UI compilations that people had created, and eventually fell in love with RealUI, my absolute favorite and #1 must have UI compilation for myself.
Here is what it looked like:

Bumping this thread.
I love the UIs folks are posting. It has inspired me to try new things with my UI.
(I'll eventually post mine after some liquid courage hits me.)
Theres a pretty huge thread in other section already.

I suppose it looks cluttered for people not used to it, but it works for me!
Here's mine. While it is a bit cluttered with central and top orientation, I find that it helps me micromanage information in fights despite my poor vision. Having to sit further back from the screen to see all the elements simply isn't something I can do when I pull the camera back.

Here's the gathering version. I have a button macro to toggle the map and duty list.

Mostly this. I guess i may have changed it a bit only and i removed the MNK skills int the middle of the screen (i was using them to keep track of combos but to no avail lol)
This is my all in one ui for anything classes/jobs/solo/raid.

RealUI is amazing. Only one I'll ever use in WoW just because I don't like having my screen filled with icons all over the place and while in idle, the screen pretty much clear of all bars, etc. Mine setup that way, I see yours is showing the bottom bars. Anyway! I'd love to see something like this in XIV also. For me, I'd like to see less of the UI when in idle.
Here my XIV UI. Sorry can't take a screen shot of the HUD setup as I'm not logged in at the moment.

Add something that it seems nobody ever talks about when talking about UIs. Your Inventory Settings.

I use the party list to select who I heal. Mouse stays hovering above it, glance between field and list regularly (sort of like how you glance in your rearview mirror while driving), click and heal if someone needs it. I'm horrible at trying to click people in the field though - if I had to rely on it, they'd all be dead. I don't have any issue with my way of doing it and I've never missed a heal or gotten hit because I wasn't looking at my char (except for when I go into panic mode because someone's suddenly taking a bunch of damage I wasn't expecting or something...)
I like making different types of skill UI's
For me it's all about efficiency.

I like to put Brutal Swing and Mercy Stroke beside Infuriate - which uses larger icons than the rest. (not shown in this pic)

Since I like to lean back in my chair I use a controller on PC so I use the cross hotbar. I have Invigorate and goad on another bar mostly so i can watch their cooldowns without having to switch to the secondary bar they're on. Because I have spanning at 5760x1080 I have a bit more realestate so things a lot of things I don't need or want front and center are moved off to the sides. unfortunately this also ruins me from playing on any other platform.
Here's how it looks in the editor. Most of the secondary bars are just kind of thrown around.

I run the game at a lower resolution than a lot of people here, so I try to keep things off to the sides so I can see. My keybinds are set up so that I can hit everything important without re-positioning my left hand, while my right hand can go about targeting allies (I click the party list for targeting) and firing off the occasional Eos spell. There are a few macros here and there for swapping in a Selene hotbar or PvP hotbars, as well. My Focus Target bar is pretty visible no matter where I'm focusing, and my off-GCD spells are up there too.

I try to keep my UI as clean and minimalistic as possible without altering the default UI setup too much.
Generally I just make everything on the ui smaller. You get pretty used to it. Then when you make an alt, everything looks like:

I'm not trying to troll, but I don't see how this is efficient at all. The SMN bar especially just looks like randomly placed icons. The same stuff I fit on 3 bars you have stretched across 4.
What is the purpose of the vertical bars on the other setups? It does look kind of cool, but I can't see any actual function to it.
@Heretic
For the SMN one I have everything close to Ruin 2 which is my keybind 1 (all my keybinds are the instant cast spells for mobility purposes). I use 3 bars so I can keep all the main skills at a closer clicking distance rather than spread them down less bars. Then it's grouped by skills you would use together, Rouse, Spur, Enkindle. Swift Cast, Raise, Tri-Disaster. Your main set of dots placed in casting order, (Bio 2, Miasma, Bio + the Reverse order)
The other class UI are arranged in a similar fashion. CD damage skills, AOE, buffs.
All centered around the main combos and skill set. That way you can pick everything up with your perifial vision while focusing on the fights.
The Warrior one I think is cool. To easily keep track of what combo you are using (Slash, Enmity, Defense) I separated them all into their own lines and then you have all your various skills surrounding it. Defensive CD, Damage Buffs, AOE skills all in a priority order surrounding the main combos.
Sorry I should have stated it's more for, efficiency of playing the class.
I've cleaned my UI up a lot in comparison to my first post. I tried putting the party list to the right of my character, but I realized it's just uncomfortable to glance to the right to look at it. I figured it would be easier for tanking (so I can see the aggro bars under people's classes), but again, it brings me back to the whole "one place is good for one class but not for another" predicament. I just keep trying to look at the top left to see my party list or health bar when I'm on my SCH. Trying to get used to it is making me a bad healer so I think I'll just not try to fix what isn't broken. xD

Hunt macros are what's above the chat.
The enemy list is supposed to be higher up, but it keeps moving down no matter what I do for some reason. It keeps its horizonal position, but every time I zone or restart the game, it goes back to the seemingly default vertical position. Not fun in the Towers.
