Can Highlanders please have some "non-wildman" hairstyles?

I'm not even really asking much, unlocking all the midlander styles for the highlanders would do the job.

Give them decent eyebrows too! :(

I'd like the highlander and midlander ponytails for miqo'te while they're at it.

I remember a long time ago (during beta? or early on after launch) that YoshiP did say they will open up hairstyles for other races later. Well it's been a year, I suppose they've retracted on that.

I do think the highlander hairstyles are a little too...boring.

Please SE, let us have real eyebrows though, if wanted. Think of the Highlanders who didn't grow up with Ala Mhigan culture! Surely they don't get the tatooes and shave off their eyebrows!

Mine has eyebrows... My Make up game is on point!

Release all the hairstyles for all races and genders. Equality for all!!

The only other hairstyle I like clips horribly through any cloth around the neck so yeah. Better keep it short ;) ;) ;)

They kept their promise on that, on 2.0's launch a lot of previously unavailable hairstyles were shared amongst races, the ones most suitable were used, the others ignored.


All of the new race-specific hairstyles added prior to 2.0 were added to all races subsequently with each patch.

You know I did for a week. Sort of a joke event, my character got turned into a 16 year old version of himself. I tried shrinking him and shaving the beard. It wasnt enough i had to switch him to a midlander. What I learned from that event is that highlanders look like adult humans, and midlanders look like teens. I would switch, but highlanders drink to much and i don't want to get carded.

Thankfully I only like this one and the shaved head style.

Im a black man IRL and I feel like, look wise, that Highlanders facial structure and skin colors more resemble me than other races. Now i would love to see more hairstyles like a nice size afro, maybe some dreads like the female version has for males, etc. I would also like for them to add for all female characters a hairstyle with a very long single ponytail going down the back to almost their legs.

I don't know what are all of you talking about, Highlanders have access to very cool hairstyles and nice facial features already...mine is awesome! :)

I'm still satisfied with my Zell-like spike hair, those midlander hair not really suit with my style though

It's the same thing with seasonal items only allowed in the cabinet like after the next seasonal update thingy...

I wish they let us have a face customization bars like in saints row where I can morph my face which ever I want it too look like not a face that already exist inside the game.

To let us stand out from each other and NPC's having the same look as us.

Though I know what people will say PS3 limitations.

That is a load of crap, said the same thing about ps2 yet the damn ps2 is still running FFXI lol

They should add more hairstyles and everything to all the races hopefully in heavensward

Hang in there, Erik. Maybe when the hairstyles rotation is finished (still missing Lalafell and maybe Midlanders, I think?), they will work on extending 2.0 hair to other races.

Until then, you could always purchase the free wedding option, unlock the wedding hair for males and then cancel the ceremony. That's decent civilized hair.

They can't share all of them, only some.

Too big a work-load and some of them just don't work.

I played "Blade and Soul" for a week or so and they had a very flexible character creation, a lot can be adjusted, from things like eye width and positioning, to eyebrow angle and distance to the eye, forehead height, jaw width and sharpness etc., to neck length, upper body length and thickness, hip size, leg length, palm size etc.

The problem was that the vast majority of the players had no sense of proportion, and out of ten players, you'd see 1 or 2 that is nicely done, 3 really odd ones that are sort of acceptable after you stare at them long enough, 5 that are simply ugly or severely out of proportion, and 1 that was deliberately made to look like some alien.

I'm actually glad ARR didn't go that route, after I saw the horrors in that game.

Yes, please. I like the overall look of highlanders, but the lack of "fitting" hairstyles is making me sad

Why is Square-Enix so strict about lore on some petty features? Just give them eyebrows. The game won't change.

I also play blade and soul (Well my wife does since she reviews MMOs I just watch her play them) and it's hilarious what people make!
