A dire message from Bomby-Bomb-Omb king of the so called "Bombards"

Dear residents of Eorzea, in the past day you have committed unrelenting acts of genocide against our peoples. We understand you are most likely jealous of our ferocious hotness and realize your Miqo'te can't compare to our searing hot Bombard women. However, we urge you to reconsider your war against our kind.

We are a peaceful race, and while we may gobble up everything in our path, it is only because we are hungry. Who doesn't get the munchies once in a while? We have seen what you have done to the marmot population, splitting up families and killing 1000s of their kind in some twisted plot to eradicate the Gridanian forests of cuteness. However, our cuteness burns brightly! No matter how much you taunt us with disgusting poses, seductive dances, or cruel waves, you will never extinguish the flames in our hearts! We shall resist you no matter how many of our kind you ignite into ashes!

From what we have heard, your acts of aggression over the past year have even driven the fluffy Phurbles into hiding and near extinction. Many have resorted to employing thousands of moles to guard the last of their kind deep within caves. And what of the poor sheep of the La Noscean Plains? What noble creature could live with the slaughter of thousands of innocent fluffy cuddly white lambs? No... this madness must end at once.

I urge all Eorzeans to take up the way of peace, and to end this genocide against our kind and all other peaceful creatures of Eorezea.

Yeah, I feel kind of bad because i was a leacher at first. I was stumped by the sheer simplisity of the hole event, (I thought it would be a complicated quest or something)
But for the hole killing thing, i see them as just troublemakers.

Do all the work? you mean the level 15 mob spawns that get one shotted? Umm ok...

Oops wrong game.

I found it annoying. Leechers just standing there, not doing anything, after me taking 5 minutes to get the damn bombard from Skull Valley cave to Aleport all by myself. When I get there everyone starts to talk to the person and got their ash. I wanted to hit them really hard...

It's not just about protecting the bomb, but doing the repeated emotes to push the bomb to camp. The quest is fun at first, especially if people are helping in a big group. But when just one or two people do all the pushing and protecting, and ten people suddenly perk around the festival fire once the bomb is dead, that's really damn annoying.

The worst example I saw yesterday in Coerthas. Those don't spawn little R15 flies, but R35 elementals... in an area full of wolves and other aggro. Oh... and the route is the longest of the 4 zones. When I got there, several R50s were sitting huddled around the festival fire crafting, while I and one other person pushed the bomb and fought the elementals. Then a few R20 characters showed up to help, but kept dying from the all the aggro and festival mobs. Shouted for help and raises and no one budged. I briefly abandoned the bomb just shy of the finish line so that I could go back and raise one of the low-level players (so they could get the ash), but the bomb died as a result. Funny... that got a reaction! Finally, one of two of them jumped up to help on the next run.... complaining loudly about how we must be noobs for letting the bomb die.

You gotta love the players in this game sometimes....

Bet you anything a lot of these guys are stocking up on the ash to sell it. :p

I wish the 4th of July was like this. Lure creatures to a fiery doom, get free skimpy clothing and fireworks. THEN eat some BBQ. :)

Hey, I pariticipated. I've /posed for those bombs plenty of times.

After like the 6th bomb, I decided to study for my Red Hat certification while I collect the ash. I did my share!
