Mahisha is silly.

Square-Enix, please prevent Mahisha from spawning in O'ghamoro Mines. There's no way that thing's reasonably able to fit inside there, there's no room to fight it, and even seeing it is a gigantic pain. I just tried to heal a party fighting it and didn't even get any credit because I couldn't even target the damn thing to attack it once because it was always out of my "line of sight", even though I could see it gyrating around the entire cavern.

How does he even fit in there? He's a jerk!

Fought him outside this morning. Finally got to see his head, and I know now why he hides it so often. I look at the coords when he pops and I have a "just say no" policy if he's on the mines :)

Cornu is in the same situation. It's a gigantic BIRD and it's flying around deep inside the mines!

That at least makes a -little- sense. Miners used to take caged canaries down into mines with them, if the bird died, they knew not to go that way because the air was bad, or something along those lines =)

I don't think miners would haul a gigantic 10 foot tall bird of prey into a mine just to act as a canary...

it'd be defeating the purpose of a canary anyway since anything THAT big would take more noxious gas to kill than you would.
Also a dog or chocobo would suit the purpose of guard better :)

Mahisha is pretty dumb in the tunnels, he does the usual huge AoE attacks S rank mobs do and there isn't anywhere to run away to so he wipes out all the tanks and melees, then he starts oneshotting all the ranged until the entire server is laying around dead in the tunnels. Also it's impossible to see which direction he's facing so he just cleaves everybody when he turns and every time he kills another tank who can't be healed because the tunnels LoS all the healers he turns to another one. I've seen 50+ people laying around dead when Mahisha is in the tunnels before. Mahisha really shouldn't be spawned inside the mines like that.

Someone needs to capture video of these incidents.

I remember once it took a half an hour just to kill the bastard when he spawned in the mines. It does suck when he spawns inside the mines. I have cool pictures of all the carnage he causes with dead Eorzeans all over ground. I love those shots!

Well, see, it escaped. And then it got really, really big. Like those stories about dead goldfish that weren't quite dead getting flushed down the toilet.

Wait till you guys find him spawn in the Kobo Bstmen leve area....

I have never seen him outside. Not once. He's always in that small tunnel in the mines whenever he spawns.

There are at least 7 confirmed spawn points outside U'Ghamaro, probably just not lucky enough to see him outside.

I've also seen him chilling AT Hermit's Hovel. The nerve of that guy, loitering at my personal vacation home. :( At least he wasn't inside, I suppose.

i fought it there 2-3 times, and haven't seen any issues.
Now, that teleporting bull, in West Noscea though...I fought it once, and rather not do it again. It was on Island of Umbra...duno how it even got there, or why it's an issue? Maybe it's just me, but if there's a psionic bull, that can blink around....i'd just leave it there, on the island...

I got to fight Cornu outside the mines that was far better then inside..ugh...Mahisha killed me one day even though I was totally out of range in a L shaped corner where the only way to get me would have been to actually turn in there but that particular corner was just about too small for that giantic beast yet killed me from as far as the major space where he was..meaning...his AOE got me through walls..LOL

Death Ray (doom) cannot be interrupted and AoE poison has no casting bar, I'm not sure if Frightful Roar (vulnerability) can be interrupted but the other two alone can wipe parties if they don't move fast enough / healers don't remove poison fast enough.

Death Ray can be avoided by turning away from Mahisha.

They're kobolds. They aren't exactly the smartest creatures in Eorzea...

I guess I've lucked out a lot, I've never seen him spawn anywhere but outside thankfully!

Fighting it in those locations is always a pleasure. Anything that could seem at least a bit challenging in hunt, or reward your eyes with a floor filled of corpses is worth to try.

I've not seen Mahisha inside the mines the last 4-5 times I've killed him but that does look hilarious xD

This is one S-rank I have yet to get a kill for simply because every time she's up and I'm online, she's in the damned mines. After the first 5 spawns and attempts, only to end up dead 3-4 times each, I just gave up. Haven't even bothered with her since.

If Mahisha fits he sits.

Sits and then ruthlessly murders half the server.

I don't even bother going to this one if he spawns in the mines.

What a headache. e.e

I do happen to know that his pop condition is by mass-suicide. So... maybe try to suicide alot outside the mine next time, maybe that helps it popped outside. I do know that majority of causalities happens inside mine though. lol
