Allow Quick Synthing for 1 star mats?

I honestly don't get why we can't quick-synth things like Rose Gold Nuggets or Twinthread. Making 50 NQ of them gets tedious when I'm just sitting there and pressing Careful Synth II over and over. It's not like they're hard to make or anything, it seems like this would be a pretty reasonable quality of life change wouldn't it?

I agree but put in a restriction like Craftsmanship < 357: Quick Synthesis unavailable

Work that plenty of people circumvent by using macros they aren't allowed to use but which aren't prosecuted. NQ items aren't much of a reward. "Time vs. reward" works fine if quick-synthing 1 star materials takes longer than ordinary quick-synth.

Macro's are built in and keyboard macro's don't go against ToS since they don't directly impact the game according to a GM i spoke 2, so you have two choices, buy a better keyboard or synth manually. There shouldn't be quick synth for anything 50+ until the cap is increased to 60.

And your reasoning for that is... what exactly? Your words were "work needs to be involved" and "Time vs reward", but using a keyboard macro is a-okay in your opinion? You do realize that takes any work and time out of the picture just the same as if you were quick synthing, yeah?

That...makes very little sense.
It's not real work.
It's just tedious and time consuming for no real good reason.
I can already craft them NQ 100% of the time
What's the point in keeping me from quick synthing them other than to draw it out? The end result is the exact same and there's 0 RNG involved in me doing it the manual way anyway.
Artificially lengthening a process like that is just poor game design and should be rectified.
If Yoshi P says he's willing to look into letting you mass-stoneskin people before engaging in combat because it's a lengthy and just obnoxious a process, I don't see why we can't have 1-star quick synth for the same reason. That reason being that it's a drawn out process for no reason and that shortening it would be a good quality-of-life change.

It does not make sense to have 1, 2, 3, now 4 and, in future, 5 stars not allowed to quick synth.

Just keep the 3 highest star recipes out of it. So 2, 3 and 4 right now, and let all lower recipes make use of it.

Yeah, this has annoyed me for a little while. Considering it's better to have HQ versions for the current crafts, quick-synthing NQ versions wouldn't harm things in anyway.

And I find it's actually sliiiiiightly quicker to do ingenuity before the careful synthesis instead of 2 careful syntheses.

If you are into Desynthesis and need to craft LOTS of Rosegold and Darksteel Nuggets or other items where you don't care for HQ, you really wish there would be a Quick Synthesis option. I know I do. ;) Times have changed and crafting one of these 1 star items once was kind of a big deal but now, it is just about masses.

I Put it into a Macro, so one touch = 1 item. Repeat. It's better than Careful Snth over and over.

Mind, I also don't use that Macro. Coz If i'm going to Macro it, I hit my Macro that will HQ it, wach TV with my heaphones plugged into my PS4. I can hear the sound effect when the snth is done, and hit the Macro. Repeat.

Ask ourselves this, why do we have quick synthesis for previous crafts?

Now take your answer, can you apply it to star crafting to any extent? Especially 1* and 2* now that we're as far as 4*. Is there a reason why it shouldn't be available for star crafting?

People don't care about it being HQ if its for something like desynthesis, or its materials for 2* crafting that they can HQ with only NQ materials.

You are correct. I said specifically, I don't use tha Macro XD. I DID write a Macro to just speam Careful Synthesis to finish a synth. Unfortunately, that's the closest thing you can do at the moment.

We cannot make any promises if a system will be implemented that allows 1 Star recipes to be “Quick Synthed” in the future, but based on the increase in stats for crafting classes and the feedback we have received, the development team will be looking into this feature.

While you're at it, quick synthesis needs to be sped up significantly. There's nothing "quick" about waiting 10 minutes for a stack's worth of items to get done. It's an unnecessary timesink that always makes me alt+tab out of the game to do something else.

To add on this, perhaps in 2.58 or 3.0, can we get the original "philosophy tome mats" (e.g. coke, potash, etc.) added to unspoiled nodes so we're not slaves to Grand Company seals as much? Either that or reduce the number needed per darksteel ingot/treated spruce lumber/vanya silk from 9 to 3 or something. Since they're not on the loot tables of the new expert roulette, their prices are getting out of control on the market board.

Or you could just start scaling back the 1,2,3 star items to be regular items or lower star numbered items so we dont wind up in the future with 10 star items :P

I think they plan on having Lv. 51-Lv.55 (No Star) || 56-60 (No Star) || 60* || 60** || 60*** || 60**** || 60***** || 61-65 || 66-70 || 71-75 || 75*.. etc

they should make it so that it requires a certain amount of craftsmanship to quicksynth 1 star then 2 star and eventually higher as the gear and recipes scales up in the upcoming expansions and years to come

Seriously. The amount of time I'm alt-tabbed because of waiting times in this game is atrocious.

I find that 'quick' synthesis is often not much faster than doing each synth separately. Aside from the time it takes you to click the Synthesis button and initiate your first production skill, the animation seems to be identical, as are the wait times between each synth.

Well, it takes me two skills (Either Careful IIx2 or Ingenuity II and Careful II) to synth a rose gold nugget, minimum. So, two animations. A quick synth can do it in one animation, and I don't have to constantly watch over it and keep pressing the same button over and over. At least it affords me the time to tab out and watch youtube or something.

I just started GSM desynthesis and I agree. Sitting there making a bunch of rose gold nuggets is tiring, especially because I don't need them to be HQ. I mean, I literally press two buttons (Ingenuity 2 > CS II) but still, I have to sit there and babysit it. :x
