I'd like to address a issue with a friend that is a new player to the game.
Now he has started collecting Soldiery and Poetics for his weekly cap we are going to need a way to get Sands of Time/Oils/Unidentified Allagan Tomes.
Considering a party of 8 of us have been in the DF for Crystal Tower (so he can unlock Syrcus Tower) for 140 minutes.
This is the events we have encountered whilst trying to do Crystal Tower.
1) 140 Minute waiting with still no luck.
2) Earlier in the day than the above point. We also waited 113 minutes.
3) The queue finally allowed us to go in and guess what? A player withdrew!
4) The requirements need to be changed. I understand it's part of the questline but it's not even possible to be able to complete this without waiting 3 hours for it to finally allow us to go in. Then hope and hope we do not have somebody withdraw out of 24 players.
We can not progress whilst these issues are happening.

People in my FC had the same problem. We ended up making a pf party group to find an alliance entirely from our server. We had lots of people just helping out otherwise it would have been impossible.

They should consider more compelling rewards, like increased Light or 200 Soldiery per run. 100 Soldiery isn't enough when you can run Snowcloak twice to get as many tomes and without possibility of up to 23 terrible players driving you crazy.

What they need to do is put new crafting materials in the first part of CT, it seems to of done well for The first coil of bahamut, people are always running T4 for allagan silk, wootz and leather. Stick some of that on every CT boss drop and people will start doing it.
For now though I assume it will almost be impossible to get anyone willing to do it, except for maybe ninja's that want FUMA gear. -

CT is not worth doing anymore. I am not just speaking on the basis of content, but from the players themselves; nearly every CT I ever got in had people who were either trolling, oblivious, or refused to listen to people who knew what they were doing.

They definitely need to up the rewards a bit. They mysteriously added 1,000 gil to every boss in ST (maybe that was for both instances...) even though the place is currently brimming with incentive to run it. Of course, even the large quantity of sands/ oils/ UATs will eventually become meaningless so they should really consider a back up incentive that should have already been released for CT and should be released for ST when the third segment is added or soon after.

Very simple, add sands of time, oil of time and the i90 gear to CT. This will lure players who just dinged and in their i50-i70 to farm CT for their i90 gear.

Can someone explain to me why people keep calling "Labyrinth of the Ancients", CT? I'm pretty sure CT stands for "Crystal Tower", which is the name of the series of raids that at the moment consists of "Labyrinth of the Ancients" and "Syrcus Tower". The Labyrinth isn't even the actuall tower. If any one duty should be called CT, it should be Syrcus Tower.

Well, playing as healer I generally take too long 30 minutes to enter at Labyrinth of Ancients. Today I entered in 1 minute because another healer quit (or dc). Even being iLvl 105, I like this raid.
But for dps should be sad. -

ST is fine on my server, DF queues in my experience as a DPS range from 5 minutes to around 40 minutes is highest I had to wait. The one that takes a long time and I think needs looking at is not ST but Labyrinth as hardly anyone ever goes back and helps others do that much given there is so little benefits for doing so once done it so queue times are triple that of ST. I don't think ST needs resolving but Labyrinth does.

CT is not labyrinth and people just call it CT out of habit from the days when labyrinth was as far as could go in the crystal tower storyline, labyrinth is what comes before CT and it is something you have to get through to access CT.Quote:
