Most populated world?

I was just wondering which is the most populated world here at the moment?

Also an unrealted question, are the garlond goggles item restricted to 1 character or will I get them on any new character I make?

Besaid and it has been said so many times :D

you'll get a goggle for every character you create as long as you have the goggle code activated on your SE account

not sure on the population but ours is probably most empty lol. but the goggles yes, u can keep making new character adn they all will have it.

That is a nice feature, does the same happen for the Onion Helm?
Also,If Besaid is the most populated world, then i would have to say that Kashuan is the least populated.

Selbina Gysahl Mysidia and one other I am forgetting (Perhaps Figaro or Cornelia?)

I thought Lindblum was in the top 2 or 3 on population.

The 3 chocobo world.

Since it's not costing anything at the moment, you could open up a character slot if you don't have one. Just make a character and get to the world list, you can see how busy each world is at the current moment by the number of chocobos present. I don't think the population fluxes that greatly enough during a day that the server list rearranges that much.

I usually see posts about Besaid or Mysidia otherwise.

And Lindblum is a 2 chocobo world. It was cram packed at launch and locked off from new characters at times, but it has fallen off the highest 1-3 population lists for now.

Do the Chocobos represent how many people have made a character on that world or how many people are currently playing?

How many are currently in 1 area at one time.

It represents the amount of traffic to the servers I believe, so its how many people on the world at that time.

But I think the 2 biggest servers are Besaid and Mysidia, could be wrong though

I thought it was currently playing so the idea was that you pick your server at a time you usually would play and you can see how many people are online then. So if you are looking for a server with a lot of NA players you see how many Chocobo's there are at NA primetime. If it is a largely JP server it will have more Chocobo's at JP primetime and less during the rest of the day.

Figaro is a very large server, but this is also due to an exceptionally strong Japanese population.

Rabanastre was big. Now, im having a hard time seeing almost anyone, one white dot on the map between the camps etc. ,oght be because im in Limsa and NOT in Uldah though. Why is everyone in Uldah? is it really that much to do there?

Ul'dah, as it's culture implies, is a centre of trade and commerce. Players seems to have taken this principle in its stride and congregated in this city due to its good layout, facilities, central location and available services.

Lindblum if your looking for a mostly English speaking server. Lot's of people playing, some even in La Noscea.

Thinking about changing to Besaid though for that epic roleplaying feeling.

Sure isn't Melmond only ever see a few lonely souls aside from my small group.

Ul'dah seems to have become the most populated city on every server.
In addition to the points Catapult mentioned, Ul'dah had the best leves in terms of SP rewards: Nophica's Wells and Broken Water in particular. Because of the player traffic, the Ul'dah markets also became the best place to buy and sell goods.

Saronia has a pretty strong Japanese player population so it tends to be quite active during the evenings here. I think the Japanese players on Saronia are also quite talkative in /say because there are a lot of cross-LS friendships.
NA prime time is much more quiet.
