How do you find a forum moderator in the forum ?

So far I only meet the community rep on the forum, any idea how and where I find a forum moderator ?

Try to get a valid topic extremely flamed and a forum mod will appear to either close it or leave a warning.

Or check the post history of Enkrateia.

so now I have found a moderator with help from post #2 and #3. How do I pm moderator ?

I had been contract with support (live chat) and they told me to send pm to a moderator on the forum

If it was website support they either tell you to contact in game or open a thread here (the latter doesn't guarantee a response)

If it was in game support they either tell you to contact website support or open a thread here (the latter doesn't guarantee a response)

Perhaps you misunderstood what they asked you to do.

You can't PM anyone in this forum. There is no PM function at all. :/

no, they clearly tell me to contract the moderator on the forum (it was forum relate) so the issue have nothing to do with the GM ingame.

edit: I will try to contract support again on monday and see how it goes

It seems this company runs on skeleton staff and automation tools. The GMs get upset if you contact them too many times about things they aren't responsible for.

As the problem is forum related, wouldn't it be better to post this in the website bugs forum http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/664 or the website feedback & suggestions forum http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/665 ?

Yeah, it's a shame that the Square Enix support staff has no way of contacting forum moderators or support, and that neither have any way of contacting in-game support, or that we players seem to have no way of contacting support for this game outside of the game. As much as I love the game itself, when something goes wrong with it or the forums or your account Square Enix has done its best to obfuscate (that's not a dirty word, moderators, it basically means "to hide" or "to cover up") what steps you might take to resolve the situation.

This much I can say from experience - the folks with SE's main support department will at least try, once you convince them you can't do what they have been told to tell you.

about forum relate, there are more than just forum bug & suggestions, the thing I want to ask the moderator is not about those thing you mention.

I had this same problem. Contacted support about a forum issue, they tell me to contact a moderator, but there is no way to contact one... months later the issue still isn't resolved because... there's no way to resolve it?

I did the same thing Illen.
There's no way. I try to get a ban appeal on my other account from the forums and they said to go here...
and they couldn't do anything. Asked via E-mail AND Live chat.
Why the hell can we not contact Forum Mod's is beyond me lmao.
So always try to be nice on the forums, once you're banned, you're done.

Yeah, they give the run around. What do you think this is, WoW customer service? Haha...

it doesn't matter to you but you are telling to go against the rule atm, if you have not realize it.

I contract the support again today, but this time the person tell me they cannot help with forum issue, like they have no knowledge or have nothing to do with it and offer escalate the question to the main office, later I got the reply have nothing to do with my question, like I ask A and they answer Z.....guess I should give up ?
