A dislike ability.

I think there should be a dislike ability for dungeons and or raids which are random if in dungeons 3/4 and in raid 7/8 members agree to this decision.

The developers don't want to alienate subs by such tactics but we the people we play this game should be able to publicly speak to those who are incompetent and are unable to complete content.

It seams in JRPGs freedom of speech is silenced and frowned upon.

We, as in western gamers, need to stand together to incorporate such policies or the introductions of 3rd party mods to weed out the weak.

Freedom of Speech doesn't exist in places like this. Can't silence something you don't have to begin with.

There is a big flaw with a system like this. People are more likely to post a complaint (dislike) about something online then post a complement (like) something. The main reason is anger or being annoyed is a bigger motivator than happiness or satisfaction. So a "like/dislike" system will be naturally bias due to basic human psychology.

To prove my point, take a look at the general section of the forums (this section.) Aside from the neutral having fun/being silly threads, how many threads are complaints and how many are compliments?...exactly.

Negative Karma systems can be abused much easier. With a "Like" system like commends it's easy...you don't commend anyone. Like, if I say I "dislike" chocolate icecream and get 100,000 people to sign a petition, I can keep ben and jerry's from ever using that flavor for anything ever again?

This isn't a democracy here, this is capitalism... You vote with your dollars... If something makes money, it is allowed to propagate... If you try to cut something off that is making money... isn't that just silly?

If you get away with this... I'm going to abolish the use of automobiles... I don't like them. Cars kill more people in America then almost anything else, right? Let's vote for them to be banned!

The problem is, vote dismiss is a "get out of duty free"-card, people act like dicks or go afk all the time in order to get kicked to avoid their 30 minute lockout. Being a dick shouldn't get you what you want though, it should get you punished in some way.

I don't think you understand what freedom of speech is. At all.

Can't believe how conceited people can be. I guess that's egoism for you. No appreciation for life other than your own.

I've seen dislike systems being abused in forums. It's easy to see how problematic it would be inside the game.
