I feel mounts could use some kind of turbo

Sometimes, it seems mounts move just too slowly, especially when you're on the Magitek. Maybe it's because you're at 8,30 in Coerthas and you're trying to get to Naul at 29, 12 (these are made up numbers. I don't remember the grid in my head). It would be nice to have a Sprint ability for mounts as well, or at least have a special green you grow to feed your chocobo so he can dash.

All of the mounts move at the same speed; it's just that some of them(Magiteck, Behemoth), feel slower because they take fewer large steps as opposed to smaller fast steps.

Yes, as I said, they seem to move slower.

I like that everyone has the same speed mount. We don't particularly need fast mounts considering we have aethernets in most areas.

Yes, because what we REALLY need is to move across these small zones even faster...

Also being higher from the ground has that effect.

I agree a "sprint" for all mounts wouldn't break anything.

I actually wish those had a larger penalty on them other than a paltry sum of gil.

Thats why I use all the small mounts as opposed to the larger more bulbous mounts like the obese chocobo and the mech armor.

I always felt that mounts were a bit sluggish the moment I got my Chocobo. They could use a 5-10% increase in movement speed.

Nothing to see here, just someone wanting full credit from every single hunt mob.
B - solo/light party, A - full party, S - multiple parties.

As long as I get some sort of item that attacks the leading person in front of me, which would make said person regret using said turbo.

I guess it come with Golden Saucer and Chocobo racing.
It would be a boring racing if all Chocobos run with the same speed.

Turbo could consume stamina and after stamina reach 0% the chocobo move in heavy speed until the stamina is at 100% again

Yes, if only mounts could use sprint...

Yes, these zones are so large and full of twist, we really could use a faster mount!

I suppose it would be fine and all, but wouldn't you guys prefer to just teleport to any point you click on the map?

Mounts in this game do feel sluggish but for me that's due to coming off of years of FFXI, where being chocoboed doubled your speed.

Areas in FFXI were also freacking large and traveling required times... you didn't *casually* warp all over the word every time you felt like, going to Windy meant literally going on a journey.

I would like a blue shell to attack the player closest to the hunt mark, please.

OP, if this happens more people with cry on the forums saying how small the world is.

I feel like this is completely unnecessary. The world isn't even that big, not to mention we can teleport to every zone in the game.

What I would love to see is some kind skill or passives depending what type of mount you have.
Like Flying ones get a passive 10% to speed, big ones like Magitec armor, fat chocobo and so on, get a passive 30-40% def increase to back attacks (slow) or slow is shorter on them, and chocobos/unicorsn and so on get a sprint skill that thet gives 30-40% speed boost for 10 sek with 2-3 min CD

People will cry either way.

Seriously? the convenience in this game is getting ridiculous, you may prefer a game where you click a button to get a reward.

You can have your turbo once we get our huge and dangerous world, meanwhile it's unnecessary.

It's as I always say when I need to get somewhere fast: "Where are my damn jet engines!?"
