Do I mis-read this, or can we expect 2.35 week after Gamescom? (with gamescom being next week)

sounds right
Lol, makes sense. Coincide with the console release of Diablo 3 Reaver of Souls edition. Sneaky sneaky Foxclon :D
Doesn't matter I'm still going to get Diablo 3. I haven't seen any actual new content releases for 2.35 aside from the 5th beast tribe (right?) unless I missed a dev post. Will most likely have a bunch of QoL changes again.
Isn't the last beast tribe also part of 2.35?
There're no live letters about this. I hope they could clarify this.
Yeah, those things would be nice. I'm not going to hold my breath on the pre-made alliance, though until it's officially announced. It's been pushed back many times already...
But still, none of those things are new content. Hunts negated almost everything this patch had to offer and now I'm feeling the boredom that I usually get 2 weeks before a new major patch (i.e. 2.1, 2.2 etc.). I don't recall 2.15 adding too much, and 2.25 was supposed to add Animus but came in 2.28, so I'm hoping that maybe they have something planned for 2.35 other than 5th beast tribe that they haven't released info about yet. I'm finished with the 1st 4 beast tribes so I will do the 5th, but that's like 20-30mins of content daily?
I know it's likely that the beast tribe is the only actual content we will get, but I can always hope!
Yep, Foxclon posted that patch 2.35 is currently scheduled for the week after next!
Personal housing is supposed to be in 2.35 also...
Sorry if my English can be somewhat limited - week after next..
Weekend?
Week?
Month?
Year? T_T
Eorzean Hour? Yay!
P.S. This ain't a multiple choice question. Hope you can clarify. Thank you Bayohne :D
Edit: Ok so I was able to see that Gamescon is from 13-17 August 2014, since maintenance are on tuesdays, we can expect a release for August 19? With Hunts fixed before anything? Sweet.
I've had no problem with Atmas, even if it was 'longing as intended' - Way better than Hunts lol
Still getting Alexandrites and psyching myself ready to waste Gil on Materia.
2.35 - Another step closer to my Ninja in training.. and counting.
2.38 (+3 months)
2.4 (+3 months) Yayyyy! Time to shave beard.
2.42, 2.45, 2.48, 2.5, 2.52, 2.55, 2.58, 2.6, 2.62, 2.65, 2.68, 2.7, 2.72, 2.75, 2.78, 2.8, 2.82, 2.85, 2.88, 2.9, 2.92, 2.95, 2.98 (+3 months for each intervals)
3.0 (year 2020) - New Healer(1) and Tank(1) Jobs >.<
Man, y u so long..
What all is suppose to come in 2.35?
2.35 (2 Weeks)
2.38 (2 1/2 weeks)
2.4 1 (1 1/2 Months)
2.35 is the middle mark till 2.4
moonfire was in september
Is there a list of confirmed or at least of expected additions/changes for 2.35?
I've mentioned this already in an old topic.
Here was my reply.
Now when this game was released we had or were about to have the Summer Time event either at 2.0 or around September...
I still stand by the fact it's far too off now for anyone else but you're playing on Japan's time so that's kinda understandable I guess.
I'm pretty sure Ixali beast quests are confirmed, as well as some choco customization. Other than that it's going to be small fixes and PvP adjustments (weak Sch PvP nerf) and quality of life things.
Sorry, it didn't post for whatever reason. This one:
http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/122...ted-Interviews
Under "2.35." I made it a small mission to track interviews and dev posts for any related material concerning potential and confirmed patch additions.
Is the Ixali Beast going to be crafting only? I hope not, because I like Beast Quests, but I hate crafting.
So who thinks we'll get a Novus update in 2.35?
Or will they do it like last time and delay it, and not leave enough time for us to finish before 2.4?
Novus is the last upgrade before 2.4.
Upgrading it further before 2.4 would mean it would overtake High Allagan weapons and that's just not going to happen.
It may be they had a different upgrade path in mind at first, which would have meant more steps through 2.3x, but Novus is what we have now.
Have you got a source for that? That's over 6 months without an update, it seems... really really unlikely. Everything I've read indicates that we should expect it in 2.35 or 2.38, and then another update for 2.45/2.48. And so on and so forth. There isn't much recent news so... where are you getting that from?Quote:

2.38 for personal housing I think
From the 13th LotP LIVE:
Yoshida had always been specific on the patch numbers (including those in decimals) - there is no mentioning of anything beyond 2.3 (such as 2.31/2.35/2.38, for example). In the previous few LIVE letters where they cover 2.35/2.38, there seems nothing touched on further upgrades down the Saga of the Zodiac Weapon line, other than the fact that the eventual weapon will have an entirely different name and look, which is safely to assume to happen within the 2.4-2.5 time frame for the last installment of the Binding Coil.Quote:
A: In my 55th Letter from the Producer, I touched upon the Saga of the Zodiac Weapons, which will be introduced in patch 2.2. This isn't something you should expect to complete in patch 2.2—it will continue through patch 2.25 and 2.3. Until now there have been mainly two means of progression: the first being defeating powerful enemies in end-game content to obtain high-item-level equipment, and the second being collecting Allagan tomestones to purchase gear. The Zodiac Weapons do not have the restrictions of these two methods, but are designed to take a long time to complete. As they require the collection of items with a low drop rate, their item level has been set fairly high. Ultimately you'll be able to customize attributes such as spell speed and critical hit rate to a certain extent, and we plan for the design to change significantly over time. This will essentially become the weapon upgrade system that I've been talking about up until now.
Whilst the above quote did not explicitly said nothing will happen in 2.3's time frame, but given the various indications from the LIVE letters and how materia prices are still high (and thus the acquisition rate), I doubt we will see anything before 2.4 hits.
