Purchase of wrong Item.

I accidentally purchased a book of diamonds with 1300 soldiery tomes and 1 unidentified allagan tome, i meant to purchase a book of spades. How would i go out getting the weathered book of diamonds exchanged for a weathered book of spades?

Go to support in-game. There is one entry "I purchased wrong Item" something like that.

If I am correct it works only once, then if you do again you are on your own.

Unfortunately, there's not really a lot you can do. This is why Square implemented a confirmation dialogue for items that can't be equipped by your current class, to try and prevent stuff like this.

Contact the GM team ingame for further info on how to solve that. I believe they can sort it out.

If you go to the Support Desk menu, you should be able to send a message to a GM explaining your situation. I did that once when i accidentally purchased a Darklight boots of healing with my Philo Tomes, while i needed the casting one. They switched the boots for me, but it was only for this one time.

I did all of the above so far and the only response I've gotten is to visit the website, which tells me to talk to a GM. So I'm trying this.

Except this isn't where you place a GM call. You do that in-game.

Again, did that. I spoke with some people and they told me this is how they got things handled.

Your question was answered...not sure why you're bumping. Place an in-game GM call stating you want to use your one-time item restore to get the book swapped. There's nothing else to it. If a GM is telling you something different then you got a GM-in-training or something and just place another call or ask to be referred to the Senior GM.

Just wait I think GMs look at the tickets and if yours is not so so important like other issues you have to wait a little longer.
