Syrcus Tower completed!

Ah! On my first run we completed it!

I'm not going to post spoilers but oh my gosh was it fun trying to figure out all the mechanics!

I'm so happy no one rage-quit on us or else it would have surely been dreadful!

We completed it with 20 minutes left on the clock and I got the caster pants!

What have you all already completed?!

Me and guildmates did Tam-Tara HM

It... well, uh, we all knew what it would be about, but I did not expect them to take it that far and we basically all NOPE'd in unison at the end

Finished it on my first run too, only wiped twice.
We had an amazing group.

SE really outdid themselves this time.
Syrcus Tower is mind blowing.
Amazing music, amazing environment, amazing boss fights.

So excited to run this when I get home. How does the party make up feel compared to CT1? With only 1 Tank and 5 DPS?

Wow, Tam-Tara was super fun and yet so frighting... It felt like I was in a horror film...

I so should have taken today off, lol.
So no sands dropped for any of you yet? :(

Sand doesn't drop.

Its the Tomestone.

I am happy that I'm working actually, even if it's a bit exciting, after the first week people will be: been there, done that..

Congrats for completing it, but I'm sad as well that it's easily completed.. perhaps with people iLvl100+ ?

Does winning a tomstobe count against u for winning gear? Or are they seperate?

LABOLAS was the most fun battle i've had in ages.

It sounds like this patch is pretty good. I've heard nothing but good things from CT Mechanics, Ramuh and even the new dungeons. I'm excited to do them all tonight!

If the tomestone :) is in the 4th chest then no, if it is not then yes (I don't know where it drops)

The Tomestone is NOT in the 4th chest, it drops additionally in the normal 3 chests at the last boss (no idea if the droprate is 100% though)

Thanks, then it must count to the drop limit. There should be a text anyways now.

Got a Oils of Time drop on the last boss and i couldnt lot on it since i got some some boots already earlier (yay... i guess).

But the dungeon is nice. The difficulty level is nice too.

Only wiped once on the very last boss because we didnt realize the orbs gave you [spoilers] status so you dont get hit by [spoilers]. Loved it though, will be doing it again.

The only problem i have with it, 3 Tanks, for 15 other members. Queue times are rediculous for tanks. They really shouldnt have designed the battle to be fought like this.

Yeah oil of time dropped for us too. i lost the roll :/

Dropped for us amoung the normal three... Oil, Tombstone and Healing Headpiece.

And I absolutely agree... the whole place is gorgeous, has fun battle dynamics and also has exceptional lighting... the Devs really outdone themselves this time. Here's what I mean by the lighting effects (no spoiler images or NPCs included)

My first run of it on my ilvl88 MNK was a walk in the park. Great group, even though we weren't really playing by the mechanics, we scraped through it. Second run didn't go so smoothly but everyone stuck in and worked it all out together.
I've done Tam Tara HM, SUCH A GOOD DUNGEON! I wish I could forget about it and experience it all for the first time again... xD

As a DPS... I'm having trouble finding some sympathy for you bud :P It could have been the last 8 months or so of long queue times....
