Are the scenes with Lahabrea and Ultima in the game already (as in Main Story) or was that a tease of "Ultima Weapon Extreme" ?

The first area looks new? Probably somewhere in Mor Dhona. You can also see a glimpse of Ramuh as well as Shiva (who looks awesome, I must say), as already mentioned. Rest of it is just a mix of clips of stuff already in the game. Not very impressed, but I guess this is meant for the general E3 crowd and not just the people playing the game already. I hope there's more juicy stuff for us in the live letter. A trailer for an expansion would be awesome. One can dream.

I suppose ultima X was to be expected, what kind of 1 hit aoes will we need to dodge while the server lags all the way in canda.

Not a bad trailer overall. Nice to see some Ramuh and Shiva but for a trailer geared towards new players I'm surprised they showed spoilers for Ultima. I really hope that's a glimpse of Ultima extreme as it's one of my favourite fights in the game.

Need to see more Shiva right now!

That was more of the trailer for the people who never played the game. I think we will get a 2.3 trailer sometime.

Or, maybe we will see her during 2.3's main scenario as a tease for what's to come on 2.4 (they DID state that they would set the stage on some stuff concerning Ishgard before the expansion).
Besides, take a close look where she is: Snowcloak, the route completely blocked by ice. Hint at a possible opening/zone?

also could that new area shown at the start be the Frontlines area? All the chocobos and they're riders donned mealstrum colors. possible sneak peak at the team size there?

Most likely and since it's E3 having a trailer like this makes sense considering how big the crowd watching E3 is. The live letters is most likely where we will see the newer stuff.

yup that was frontlines. look very promising now.

it clearly not the real 2.3 trailer, the 2.x trailers always tell which month or day the patch is getting released. it is just a teaser of all the primals.

Well it appears to be a trailer showing old and new stuff for E3. So yeah those who have played the game know all of that was shown. But anyone who hasn't and is at E3 may not of.

Besides Ramuh and Shiva, I saw some other cool new bosses. I'm surprised you guys didn't mention those too!
In that video, there was some kind of fire boss, then like a wind element boss, a rock monster of some kind... and some kind of furry bunny boss...

Also that robot boss looks cool, maybe that's a voltron tie in?

Yeah I counted 24 Chocobos under the " Limsa Lominsa" flag in which they are all going in the same direction and are not attacking each other. Which indicates that Frontlines is 24 v 24 v 24 :).

Honestly, not impressed. Let's hope they saved the good stuff for the Live Letter today.

for all we know "A Realm in Peril" could be the name of the version 2.4 patch or maybe even the 3.0 expansion and this was just teasers? you should also note that today is the first day of the E3(wasn't it?) so this might have just been an opening teaser for that

1) frontlines 24vs24vs24(72 ppl)?
Hell no, if they can't get odin or behemoth right then surely this will be a laggy mess. Everyone will be ninjas, going invisible and the such.
Ps3 limitations wouldn't even matter as ppl on pc were also complaining at some point about how messy and laggy those fates were.
2) excited about labby and ultima ex! Pretty interesting seeing him say the whole behold the true power of ultimaaaa thing.
Hopefully we have more lazers and explosions and primal tri disaster stuff + levi or ramuh if they did get absorbed during the main story line.
