1.0 Titles Not Appearing
The titles I earned in 1.0 aren't available to me.

I logged into the game, noticed that the titles I should have earned from 1.0 didn't appear under my profile sub-pane on my character screen.

I spoke with Jonathas (NPC responsible for achievement rewards) in Old Gridania as someone suggested to me, this didn't fix the issue.

I noticed that I'm not only, not receiving my 1.0 titles but I'm also missing some of the titles that carried over and are available in ARR .

Mind telling me which titles you're referring to? Mine works well, even used 1 as my display title.

Notorius Monster Hunter, Sword of La Noscea etc. Some peoples have same problem, 1.0 -> ARR data transfer bug.

Have those titles. Currently using Shield of Eorzea. Might be bug on your end after all. :?

Yep, we are having the same problem. Our 1.0 titles weren't transferred either and from what i was informed today, those that didn't get them..... WON'T. I put in ANOTHER ticket about not receiving my 1.0 titles. I got the achievements but not the title. An explanation wasn't given so i replied raging why so many people would get their 1.0 titles, no problem but then some dont. I need that explained to me cuz that's crap! After my ticket was submitted, this is the response i got back from them:

I don't understand that? Why wouldn't the titles get transferred over? I see so many people with their 1.0 titles, so why is it that might wont get transferred? I'm confused... And why have the achievements if you can't have your title, then your work wasn't for much when most of them were FOR the titles. Please explain to me why some would have theirs but apparently some don't because i don't get it.




There is not much they CAN'T do, so why is it just a problem to transfer over something like a title when they can transfer everything else? Not like it's because they can't verify you really had it cuz like they said, they transferred the achievements so they can just check those to verify you got it and give it to you. This is how their loyal players get treated... way to screw over your long time, loyal customers.

Yea, that's stupid. They should be able to add it manualy, but it look's like they don't want to do anything.
It wans't so dissapointing until recent patch, when titles can be seen atlast.
For exsample when i played World of Warcraft, tech support can do anything.

I have the same issue, and sent a ticket and got the same response via email. This doesn't make sense.

Devs can we please have a commentary on the status of our titles?

Even a bit of information regarding this would put us at ease a bit.

(additionally our posts about this yesterday got shelved in "duplicate bugs" and "resolved bugs"...This has not been resolved, clearly. XD

No, what is stupid that they can do anything and the fact that hundreds of other have the titles we're missing but we're unable to get ours for whatever reason that they didn't transfer in the first place. This is such crap. It's not our fault we didn't get them so why should we be punished for doing the work and not keeping our reward??

Ya and the funny thing is i'm only missing Crystal Bearer that i've noticed and my husband is missing Notorious Monster Hunter. What's funny is that even tho we're only missing ONE we still can't get them. I would like to know what the difference is between all the people that was able to get them and all the people that didn't..

(iirc, he's located in Black Shroud about south from Gridania right?) Cause if it's the latter, that might be the problem. :?

If you're asking if we need to talk to the guy in Gridania where we get all of our other achievement based items, then No, it's already been tried. Or if you're asking if we made sure we had it in 1.0 to transfer, Yes, i had the title because i wore mine when servers went down.
I want everyone to make a big deal out of this so maybe they'll push some buttons and give them back but as far as now, they say they're not going to. I just wanna know why.

I am also missing many titles and have received no response from GM in three days..

Its not fair to add reason to have titles so people are excited about them, then tell people whom are not getting titles the achievements clearly show as having when the problem is FFXIV sided, not of our own faults. I get that I got a black male bikini and I cant have the girl one I so desperately.. that was my fault.. but it's not fair that I can't get my titles either.

I'm going to call complete BS on this. It doesn't make any sense that titles earned in 1.0 won't transfer, especially since if obviously did work for some people. This really is horrible customer service.

I completely agree. It IS bs and just flat out lazy. There is NO other reason as to why they can't do something like this especially seeing as how so many other ppl were able to get it but some were just "eh, enough people have it, they wont notice" or "good work, here's your title... here's your title.... eh, i see you did your job but you don't get one. Agreed. I mean... what's the point releasing statement back then which talks about discontinued achievements, which force some ppl who cares to get it done as much as they can, and not able to use the titles we got anymore... :p

Agreed, i mean granted, we started 3 months before shut down and so my husband hauled ass to get his monster hunter title and got it the day before they before they stopped saving. So he HAD it and even used it on the last day and until shut down. This is bogus and no reason for it. it's just laziness is all. I got that survey in my email today after talking to that agent and gave a negative review and raged in the comments. Surely SOMEONE will see it. But it's not even about the title for me much anymore, it's just the whole purpose and the fact that they are finding another reason to screw people. I love this game but jeez, this picking and choosing who can have what when so many people earned it is unbelievable.

Well.... i finally got a reply about to the rage email i sent after the one telling me i won't get my title(posted previously) and you can definitely tell that they are automated......

I just got this same reply. I'm missing Crystal Bearer even though the completed achievement is staring me in the face. In WoW, I had a GM actually ask me to log off a character once so he could log onto it and fix an item; I watched from an alt. Here... we get this automated response nonsense... SE should consider hiring more people now that they're making some money off this game.

Yep, well..... if they want me to make my own post.... i'll make my own post :-) Gonna have fun with this. I'm already ticked about it. Just stupid to make a whole new thread for the same issue so many people have posted about and still haven't responded too and all they are gonna say is "Thank you for informing us with this concern, we will pass it on and have someone investigate. Please check here and here for a solution" something along those lines anyway. That is ALWAYS the response and our solution NEVER shows up!!!! But they can waste our time and money on stupid things like 4 new different kinds of poses and 2 seated chocobos but not the stuff people are actually upset about. So sick of dealing with all of this.

Yep, but got resonance only after recent patch, coz Titles wasn't visible before.

Same problem for me.
Only have 1/3 of the "A ... Worst Nightmare" titles available and 0/3 of the "Divine Might,..." set, and a few others missing too.
It's all legacy titles. The newer ones all seem to be available.

Yeah, in WoW GM service is much better, such things as achievement or title bug they solve in game instantly. FFXIV in-game support sends to NPC first, then on forums, without even trying to understand problem, even if i said them that i did both lot of times already.

On the other hand some of the 1.0 are working for some reason. Just those three are missing. And tbh they are the really nice ones :p.

Missing all of my V1 titles as well. Theres a reason I still glamour items to my Onion helm and thats to sport that I stuck through the shit ass game that V1 was. Instead of rewarding those who have played and supported your game in a rough time we get a smack to the face saying oh well we cant fix it.

I don't believe we've received a real response yet. Any of our responses through submitting tickets sound very automated. When we have an official reply, hopefully there will be some more light shed on what exactly is going on.

We can pretty much assume at this point that the issue wont be fixed. We are to small of a group for them to care about.

I posted in a thread that was nearly identical to this posting my missing titles from 1.0. It seems a LOT of people are affected by this, and few of us actually noticed (or cared) until you could wear titles on the nameplates. I'm really hoping they will be able to come up with an overarching solution because I'm sure there are people who don't even realize they're missing titles in the first place.
