Dare i say it? WTF! If this is really planned it WILL take away almost all incentive todo any one of those fights especially Titan Extreme! More people who havent aquired the necessary Skill or Equipment will rush forward to do Levi or Moogle which will decrease the enjoyment of those Bossfights for all! At least thats what i think. Ofcourse its nice for those who have tried for weeks and weeks on end and just want to move on and see other content, but then again they will certainly not be able to clear those new fights either. Levi is easier to perform than Titan by far. People won't suddenly be terrible at levi because they suck at dodging plumes. It's a different fight with different patterns. People will be fine.

I really wish they would make the extreme mounts be buyable for like, 6-9 rowena tokens or something. Would give players a reason to keep doing the extreme primals at least once a week still. I have yet to see any mount drop off any of the extremes, I've lost count of how many runs. :)

Understand that the rewards for the original three extreme primals relied on you doing all three whereas Leviathan and Good King Mog have rewards independent of the first three. To lock them behind the first three was silly to begin with and I'm glad that they are finally being given open access. This isn't changing their iLevel requirement so you still have that 'must be this tall' sign to guard your precious content from the undergeared.

Not really a nerf letting people skip the content. But I would also say Titan is easier then Levithan mainly because Levithan spinning dives and circles are random, everything titan does is scripted and you can do him all day long and not ever mess up. Levithan its much easier to get hit because there is a chance you won't turn your camera in the right spot.

Fights like these should be done of the challenge and satisfaction, with the loot being a nice bonus reward. Requiring that players have to beat certain gates in order to see more content is a bad idea that will force them away from the content, if not the game entirely. There needs to be a means for casual players, or those who struggle to meet the requirements of certain content, to be able to continue on and not be left behind. They, and others, can tackle that older content later when they feel more prepared for it, simply for the challenge and the fun. Y'know, because this is a game and it is meant to be fun for you.

Stand near the center of the edge of the platform on the shorter side (side of and opposite of the generator thing), your camera zoomed all the way out behind you. You will see either the spout behind you or ahead of you, whichever side he will spinning dive across. Move to the opposite part to dodge it. Sadly this won't help against that annoying spinning dive coming from the corners, but it's an 80% success rate for helping you dodge. Also, his circles are not random, he has 2 aiming at the healers while he's out of the water (smaller ones), and several giant ones he aims at DPS.Quote:

This isn't really a nerf. The Primals are not having their powers reduced whatsoever. It's just that the RESTRICTION for challenging them is gone.

Just my opinion I never get hit by Titans mechanics, Leviathan I may get hit once a run. Although you will not wipe when getting hit by levithan just get a stack that eventually falls off, titan is a fight that it is much easier for me to never get hit by anything because I can see the whole arena. I don't have lag issues ever.

Honestly, the only reason to do the original extreme primals was the Bahamut weapons. Some are still the most viable, like the Dual Hakken (until you get lucky at Turn 9, that is). Beyond that there really is little reason to run them. Locking other extreme primals behind them only served to lock content from those who don't want to bother with the Bahamut weapons.

As ive come to the conclusion of (which is sort of true) from another Post on this Forum its actually irrelevant how high your gear lvl is as the Fights are mechanics driven and Gear and Echo have very little effect as to how you can defeat a certain Boss because if you derp on the mechanics it doesnt matter how good your equipped you will wipe :P

I never like nerfs really, it makes me stressed to do all the new content as fast as possible so that I can do it before SE nerfs it.
The only thing I like about this is that now I can do Moggle King extreme and I reaaally want the cute necklaces.
But I guess if they nerf this I'll never get to do Titan or Ifrit Ex cause no one is gonna do them anymore. Garuda Ex is the only one I've done -

And i'm saying this with all the primals EX weapons in my bags already, so it doesn't really affect me, even if beating Titan EX for the fist time was probably the best moment for me in this game, along with killing the HM version and Twintania.
Also, if you cannot dodge plumes, well good luck with Leviathan's dives. -

It's a much easier fight to handle than Titan, there are just a little more varied mechanics to learn + DPS requirement is tighter.
