Curaga = Curega now?
Localization goof?
Meh. Idc. But those MP costs scare the shit out of me.
Hey aista, Can I buy your Templar's Coif?
I hope its a localization goof....but then that worries me because I would then ask if they anyone on the localization team has ever played a FF lol

I was wondering the same thing. Is it Curega now?d.
It's gone back and forth in the past. Technically, it's more correct if -ga is an AoE sufix.
In a vaguely grammar nerd kind of way, I'm happy that they're no longer converting Es to As when making spells AoE.
Wondering if THM subbed curega's still follow THMs AoE targeting method or what?
What is the point of this if we can still just aoe all our spells? also hi rau /
MP isn't so bad. Going from active mode and passive mode is a lot smoother now. Just have to get used to doing it to gain as much MP between battles as you can.
RAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
hi!
and after you buy the Templar's Coif can you trade it to me for free?
They talked about changing the AoE thing this patch, but those MP costs are MASSIVE.
Well MP increased for spells just going to make people play properly and not spam and be invincible.
Something I never managed to do even before we had auto-regen and siphon spells.Quote:
In other words, it is now possible to actually run out of mp. :P
Those were the days.
When a man still knew how to survive on 3 MP/day.
maybe it should be a hybryd of curega and curaga because i always pronounce it cureaga :|
If this is not a typo, it's just one more thing they've changed unnecessarily. It's always been Curaga after the Cur3 stuff of the early games that had strict character limits. I for one, am not amused. :/
Who cares? It's a damned vowel.
Yea, its AOE Cure not AOE Cura, so its technically correct.
It's always been either or Curaga and Curega also i think FF XI was the only game that had an AoE Curaga could be wrong tho most normally curaga is a single target spell
Hey, at least they try. In the spanish translation all we had was Cura, Cura+ and Cura++
Also, i couldnt help thinking about this while reading this thread:

Just a heads up - it was only a mere typo in the patch notes! Rest assured, the spell is called "Curaga" and "Curaga II"! :)
Curaga...II? lol
