did they say dungeon may not be open for 1.18 it may be 1-3days delay? or they fix the issue and it be release right on 1.18?

Depends on time zone.

22nd JST, I believe that is the 21st in Est not 100% sure if I did that calculation right though.

So patch is slated for 21st in America.

I just hope they do update on July 21, and no delay again...even for 1 day...not because I can't wait, but it means something is wrong with the time management of the dev team...

Although I'm excited to see the implementation of the dungeons, part of me is more excited to see other things such as:
-more people online and active due to the new content
-features that they haven't mentioned or small things like maybe 'Jump' or of that nature
-the groundwork and core system to be finalized so that they can REALLY start cranking out great content and updates much faster than before, and what they have in store for us on the next few patches :)

i think it is going to be delayed again. Normally it will be news on the lodestone a week before the mentainance but now it is only 3 days left but nothing showing up.

Assuming we get it this week I'll be excited, but until the information bit gets updated I'm not going to assume anything for this week.

Its a safety net to fall back on if they aren't able to deliver on the exact day they have preempted the impending delay. I would also assume it would be the whole thing, makes no sense to separate stuff.

Normally the main page is updated a few days before the patch so I would say were not getting anything on Thursday but I hope I am wrong :S

Considering the last Producer's letter isn't that long ago. The most it'll get delayed is a few days. So no worries.

If something game breaking happens...well it has to be extremely unlucky to stall it much.

Just a small correction: the time differences you posted are correct during standard time. During daylight savings time (now), however, Japan is 13 hours ahead of New York and 16 hours ahead of L.A.

Seven years living in Japan and getting woken up at all hours of the night by phone calls from my family in the U.S. made me sensitive to this. Drove me crazy. :(

Didn't they say a delay of a day or two might happen? I'm not getting my hopes up.

It was in one of the updates, that 1.18 was slated for the 22nd (JST). No exact time yet, and Yoshida-P told us that it wouldn't be strange if the patch was delayed 1-3 days, either.

Anyway, it's still soon (but not soon enough)

Then like I said, I'm not taking anything for granted till I see the actual maintenance! I know very well what he said in the letter which is why I'm skeptical. I wouldn't open a thread saying "x days until" when we don't know if that's true yet.
