Help with my 40 Dura rotation

I know there are several guides out there for nearly 100% HQ a 40 dura rotation already, but those unfortunately cannot apply to me. I play on a pretty new server and I dont think anyone has all the crafting skills up to 50 already, and its a race to the master books. I have cranked out a 50 Goldsmith, Carpenter and Leatherworker. I also have Cul to 37 for SH2, and Arm up to 15 for Ingenuity I for now.

For reference, I currently have about 350 crafts/control and 340cp. The skills I have access to:
Manipulation, SH2, Hasty Touch, Careful Synth 1, Tricks of the Trade, Rumination, Greater Strides, Innovation, Ingenuity, Waste Not II and Byregots Blessing.

Not looking for 100% HQ, or a fully macroable rotation. Any suggestions on how I should use the skills I have to get as high a chance as possible of HQing would be extremely appreciated.

get byregots blessing, without it you'd be lucky to have a reliable rotation for 40dura (i'm guessing 1*).

but in truth it all depends on your melds and cp level if you want a good rotation that will give you a high chance at hq.

^^ You cannot do w/o BB, it is required for any endgame HQ crafting.

Google the web, there are many setups, but start with Whitefall's thread as the basis and play with it.

Also keep in mind that there is NO 100% 40D HQ rotation. It is impossible. My best 40D rotation atm is around 90%+ HQ rate requiring 381 CP.

I simply forgot to list BB in my lineup. I am still playing around with it as it is my newest skill to have learned, but I am still hit or miss on HQing from nq ores.

I have seen a few posts claiming 99% (realistically 100%) 40D HQ rotation, but thats not possible for me yet, nor is it what I am aiming for in the very near future. I want to do the best with what I can

I had never seen that post though and I greatly appreciate it. I will take a look and see how I can improve it a bit with the additional skills I have

CZ (which you don't have, but i'm not sure if you will absolutely need if you eat CP food), IQ, SH2, WN, HTx4, Manipulation, SH2, WN, HTx4, SH1 (not 2), Great Strides, Ingen, BB, Careful Synth x2.

You are dependent on RNG for HQ or not, but thats my rotation and its served me well.

That rotation gets me about 80-85% HQ odds on 2star 40dura rotation, according to the calculator. I'd really love to hit 90-95% HQ liklihood, but I fear that I cant hit that without more skills at my disposal. About to have Careful Synth II, but that may not really help me out here. May need INN II, maybe CZ next.

With about 375 cp (with food) any opinions on which skill will most help next? Comfort Zone or Ingenuity II

its a toss up really.. you'll get extra cp from comfort zone but unless you can use touch with the cp it wont help.. plus with that amount of cp you should already have enough to 100% hq your synth. ingenuity 2 could give you extra quality as well as progress, if you have enough craftsmanship it may even reduce it down to 1 progress step to finish or 2 steps for 2* 40 dura.

for 1* 40 dura I use..

CZ,IQ,SH2,HT,HT,MPN,HT,SH2,HT,HT,MPN,HT,HT,SH2,IG2,HT,GS,BB,CS2

going from zero quality it gets pretty high if not just flat out 100%, if using 1 hq mat its about as close to being 100% all the time as you can get whilst relying on hasty touch. with all hq mats its virtually guaranteed all the time. (but its still not a 100% guaranteed rotation)

this rotation starts with 345cp and no food. actually if I remember rightly there's 2cp left over so could be done with 343, but check that first.

you'll have to adjust for your craftsmanship lvl as I'm not certain of the min for it to work.

this would work on 2* as well but you'll have to work out how many hasty's to drop to get your progress to 100%.

CZ, why? I haven't seen a working HQ 40D rotation w/o it. I have seen rotations using only Ingenity, and not II, however.

you don't need comfort zone if you get the extra cp from food... assuming you need it. however you really want both skills as soon as possible.
