You'll have nothing and like it!
No to fatigue but........
Every jump should dmg all your armor by 1% >.>
All I want is there to be a decent delay between jumps, nothing severe that is punishing but at least a good 5 seconds or so.
i asked for this in other thread an all posted: "omg fatigue no ty"
restrictions are not good but some kind of reality is not bad too, noone can jump forever :p
All they need to do is put transparent block on city areas so people can't jump and climb up in cities... not hard to do and pretty basic stuff in 'most' games. Just like old school 2D RPG they tell the map sections which part of the map is walkable (land) and which ones are not walkable (water) same thing applies for 3D just like how FFXIV's cliff works, like limsa for example right now there is transparent wall so you can't drop off on the areas without any rails (hope you can jump off later though...)
I would love it if it was tied to a stamina where if you jumped more then twice you had to wait a while before you could again.
I was hoping they would have made jump, something like ff13.
Yes please, that's a great idea!
We had a system that could have been used for jumping fatigue. Stamina.... You guys remember that? Its the think so many players thought was so useless and would never have a use...
No, because the WOW bunny hopping that people keep bringing up is an extreme exaggeration.

Seriously though, I think we can all rest easy knowing SE will not make jumping anything at all like this.
Yes to:
Fatigue
Tied to Stamnia
"You cannot perform that action so soon in succession"
"Unable to Jump at this time."
Systems.
Nope.Quote:
Jump Fatigue {Can I Have It}
/moarchars
Toggle jump animations performed by others off/no. Problem solved. Close thread. Don't need another.
Let me get this straight, you want fatigue again?
come on now. dont be terrible. if anything jump will save this game by jst a littel bit. I hav played wow for several years now an i have never ever encountered this excessive jumping refered as "bunny jomping" other than a very few individuals. get real. you are just bandwagoning this worthless argument, it has no place in here.
and even if we get jump it will be uselss, like /sit. probably you have to write /jump, or you will not be able to jump while moving or something stupid like that. most liekly you wont be able to jump over anything. we are talkiing about SE.
It's a FREEEEEEEEEEE JUMP
get over it
and it doesn't matter what you think!
And what he said is....!

Yoshida: All I can say is that we are not emphasising jumping with the jump key as a means to cover vast distances on the map or an element that must be used during battle strategies... Maybe it's easiest to say it will just be like the jump you generally see in MMO's.
I'm more worried about how the animations will look for it, rather than how it'll actually be implemented. A Roegadyn clad in heavy iron armor doing front flips everywhere would look ridiculous.

Jump Fatigue {Can I Have It}
Not that this in anyway justifies it, but Final Fantasy XIII-2 is also getting free jumping (sans fatigue). Also Kingdom Hearts has had it since the first game in the series. It can be done in RPGs without being "bunny hopping" and silly.
So if you jump off the map or something... here is the question will GMs help you or tell you to wait the 30mins cooldown for return >.>
I think there should just be designated jump areas. No being able to jump randomly, only where it is needed.
Kinda like XIII but on a larger and grandeur scale.
I vote for no restrictions, but I don't really see that happening lol
So a pointless gimmick?

I like you Ilean.
A gimmick? umm XIII, yes it was.
What i'm talking about is whenever you walk towards or are near something where it is required
to jump it does automatically. So, really its jump implemented everywhere its needed.
Cliff? jump. Hill? jump. Gap? jump.
Not - Adventure guild, top of stairs, on a boat, on a plane or in an automobile.
Jeeze. Not tiny points far and few between and glowing circles you nit wit.
Why the hell would anyone want that?

at about 5min, HORRIBLE game.
But along the lines of that.
Only being able to jump when needed and not having to push a button.
But ill probably get blasted for this post anyhow.
