SMN in t6: Garuda or Ifrit Egi?

Hi everyone. I would like to know your opinion about SMN in t6.
What is the accuracy that I need? I heard 450, is it right?
And i read that some SMN are using Ifrit-Egi for this fight and it does higher dps then Garuda-Egi.
What do you think about it?
What would be the acc cap for Ifrit Egi and how should i use it? I could leave him in "Sic"?

The long and short of Ifrit vs Garuda: Ifrit does slightly more than Garuda with (Edit here) WAR + MNK in the party, MNK for regular attack, WAR for AA. Even then, the loss of Contagion hurts SMN's DPS and MP (this is very important in end-game fights, having to DoT quite a bit more kills MP and forces SMN to skip Ruin II or use ED or some other methods which all result in less DPS) more than you gain from Ifrit's higher damage. Ifrit also attacks less often than Garuda can, since Garuda is ranged and Ifrit has to travel at times.

Basically, Ifrit in its present form is never worth it, except maybe solo content where you can't Contagion stuff before it dies.

MNKs debuff Blunt (which benefit Titan). Ifrit's auto attacks are Slashing, which is debuffed by Warriors. The rest of Ifrit's abilities are a generic physical type and are not affected by any debuffs.

That right there is your problem. Ruin II costs twice as much MP as Ruin. Shouldn't really be spamming it...

Ifrit is better for trash in almost every dungeon where I use contagion 0% of the time and he rarely needs to travel once he reaches a mob along with the rest of the party.

Burning Strike is most definitely blunt.

I'm pretty sure ifrit's auto attacks are blunt slashing and piercing...

You need only have Ifrit hit a dummy for a while until you have a fairly good range of damage numbers, then do it again with Dragon Kick up. It's not rocket science.

Ifrit does do more dps in this fight, even with the lost of Contagion, but the difference is so small, its doesn't really matter. In almost all other fights, even the rare ones where he can pull more dps, he is just too much of a headache to bother. Ifrit vs Garuda was built around the old melee vs range system (before the melee buff), where they do similar damage, with the melee pulling ahead in ideal situations, but melee have so much crap to deal with, they often fall behind. Ifrit, however, is even worse cuz at least a good melee could work around all the crap they have to deal with and come out on top. I guess this next buff is just bringing things up to date with the current melee vs range system.
