I hope you are ready to learn to pass rot. Otherwise, you may as well just not do T2 in DF. Good Luck!

you only need two healers to enrage if they are good. But I agree, people should learn to pass rot anyways.
Rot is easy, Been passing it for months. Hate the enrage strat as I can do 2 normal runs in the same time it takes for 1 enrage.
Why?
I've done turn 2 in DF once, and it was my introduction to doing the enrage method.
....This thread is a little late, isn't it?......
T2 enrage is entirely possible with two healers. However it may be difficult if there's no bard...
I have no idea what any of this means. :)
*queues as a tank*
what is rot?
If you can't enrage with two healers your healers are either direly undergeared or have serious problems.
The real problem is that only two classes in the game have reliable silences and you can DF and get neither of them. Making paralyze purgable helps but it doesn't make up for the 2k raid-wide damage and the fact that half the team is probably going to get stunned into a red circle or out of an important survival skill.
Nah, our WHM single healed T2 with a mantra and a song up throughout the fight. Two healers should be fine.
Did it with two healers and our Bard DC'd. It was pretty sketchy near the end, but you would need two well geared healers to pull it off.
Selene silencing isn't that bad and monk silence is completely reliable (and you can easily solo-silence everything with it). The latter is obviously a dps loss, but there's nothing unreliable about it(except the player) and can get you through the turn by filling in for one silencer or all.
Echo buff may help you with 2 healers (May the Force help you if you get two scholars). If you're doing enrage, the nodes can be killed slowly and if you're doing rot, good luck. You'll need it.
I love passing rot.
The enrage method is just annoying.... but then again, people don't like to put forth effort.
People should not be trying to do some enrage method in DF if you want to do that make your own party in the party finder. The fight should be done in its intended fashion.
I hate when people want to 3 heal t2. with the echo buff it's so pointless
Not sure why everyone is afraid of double SCH. Two Succors may not be as good as two Medicas, but you can also have Sacred Soil at all times, and double Whispering Dawn and alternating Fey Illumination. Plus SCHs have better MP regen, so not having a Bard isn't as much of a problem.
I've done Enrage method a few times in DF with just the 2 healers and no bard.... one was even with 2 scholars. It really depends on people's gear and how they play their class. I see far too many monks and dragoons attacking ADS from the front and not maximizing their damage. Sure you have to be stacked, but you do have the freedom to move around a bit assuming everyone is on top of ADS.
I'm actually curious if anyone has tried destroying the Rot node. While it does apply a haste buff to ADS, players are now decked out in i90 gear, High Voltage has been nerfed significantly, and there's the echo buff to boot.
There is no "intended" fashion or pattern for any boss fight, only an array of mechanics that a group strategizes to overcome. Even without enrage method, you can even go so far as to remove Allagan Rot from ADS' ability list by killing the Sanitary Node (though good luck surviving hasted HV's).
