Black and Nburu FATE

I understand that SE has said before FATEs for the books are not linked to other fates, other than a certain number cannot be up in area at the same time.. Now, I have been waiting for this FATE in Mor Dhona now for over 4 hours....that is silly!!! I have done other fates in the area, there are times when NO other fate is up on Mor Dhona....

what is up with this????

Mor Dhona is very limited on Fate numbers.

Each zones have different FATES downtime, Mor Dhona's downtime is 10 min, it was 2 min when Lightning's fate up

It seems they don't learn from previous feedback or just don't listen to people. Majority of people dislikes FATES but still, they connect FATES heavily to their quests.

People said numerous times if there must be FATES, they must be in a special queue as long as they are quest related. But no, they make us wait endlessly for rare FATES.

Take care the FATES needed for ATMA or beast tribes or whatever else pop up MORE than other FATES. If you are doing a quest it is ZERO fun to wait for such a long time. If you need time sinks and to slow down progression, make us join such FATES 10 times or more but do not regulate our progression with long waiting times. I want to be busy and not bored.

The time that I spent on waiting certain FATEs to pop up for the books much more than I spent on ATMA farming. :(

^^ yesterday I was in Coerthas. Waited 40 minutes for the FATE to spawn, got bored and went down the map a bit to hunt for the enemies I have to kill for my book. I had the map open all the time and instantly rode back after I saw it spawning just to see the glorious "Fate successfull" when I arrived so I had to wait for the next one. All in all, I needed 2 hours for a single FATE that was over in maybe 40-50 seconds. That is just out of proportion and it is a shame SE doesn't see it and just continues to follow the same paths again and again.

I shaked my head and couldn't believe what they developped. First they make us go for an indefinite amount of FATES (it took me a tad more than 600 all in all) and then when you finally have your 12 pieces, you have to wait endlessly for more FATES, this time rare ones? You gotta be kidding me!

I mean for them it is easy content, they don't ned to develop much, don't need to test much. But I would really like to know if anybody on SE's side has actually made the ATMA quest without developer cheating tools. If somebody did and thought "that was great and fun to do, can't wait to start with my 2nd weapon" I would actually be surprised.

Please, fix this FATE! And fix the spawn rate of all the other FATE involving books! We are tired of waiting hours/days for FATE to spawns to complete our books!

The animus quest is not designed for quick completion. Not sure why so many people complain about.

^^ don't mix up long term goals with boredom. Make us grind, not waiting. Grinding can take long (make 100 FATES) but letting people wait for hours for a rare FATE is just very bad design. Developpers should keep us busy, not make us standing around in the Nowhere waiting for something that is over in under a minute. Don't get how anybody can defend that system and agree with it. Well if your main class is 47, maybe you haven't even started this quest yet so let's talk again when you are doing it.

That fate is one that didn't seem too long for me, I missed that one, completed by the time I got there, and spawned within an hour. They definitely seem a bit random.

Changing skins & a tweak here and there. Hence HM dungeons Ex's. Now, its expert. Granted, schemes are different so theoretically its new with the least amount of design. Keep pouring out ways to inflict boredom. I like ideas of being stupidly busy for 100 hours than bored 100 hours. Thats logic SE in their infinite ways to try and build anticipation and smite us with so much gaming variability. I take it in stride but between boredom and redundancy in the game itself, it seems their developers are just a mouse trapped on a single wheel of thought.
To another point made, I agree the game shouldn't be made too easy but at level 50 with 110 gear out already the differentiation of the two seems to be on part with a great game depression before this gets out of hand. What's the final verdict.... A level 100 character with level 1000 gear? C'mon, let's be a little more equivalent in the logical aspect ratio here.

Been waiting 5 hours for a FATE in Sylphlands, the Breaking Dawn one. This questline just continues to get more and more ignorant as times goes on.

Waiting for this fate now =(

I agree, I couldn't stay up long enough to do the fate in east shroud, I waited 5 hours and nothing spawned.

Whats stupid is if we leave zone and it pops then we get screwed and have to wait another 5-6 hours or however long it is.

I don't understand Enmity of my Enemy is 2nd part of a FATE chain started by an npc trigger. Sp how can they not be linked.

Waited about 10 hours for this to pop. Not joking. SE please change this.

I remember waiting in a cold dark fortress in Xarcabard for a coffer chest to spawn, for like 4 or 5 hours, after I spent 2-3 hours farming for a key. All this was just for one(1) piece of Artifact gear. I was all by myself...and a bit scared. The mobs in there were mean during that gear hunt.

This is the MO of SE. Some things they just hand to you, granted not many. Others, yea...they gonna take a while.

I haven't started the ATMA farm yet. Not sure if I want to. Guess I will need a day where I plan on doing NOTHING...

I remember those days. Scary as hell. I did it as a THF so I would pick locks and run like the devil if I had to.

Finished my Animus weapon the other day. This was the only Fate where I had to wait over 45 minutes for it to spawn. So I think I got off quite lucky when it came to the fates. Did take at least 90 minutes for this to spawn for me though.

Not trying to say I'm so much luckier than anyone else, or I'm better for being more accepting of the design in place... But, I think a certain amount of this RNG/wait game/etc is acceptable on a game where you can be all classes on one character. The foundation is what created this, and everyone is accepting of the pro's but hastily forget their appreciation when considering the con's. I busy myself with other stuff and politely request others to wait to Zerg the fate in question. I've had a few angsty face palm moments myself... But all in all, I'm 7/9 to thyrus animus with a stardust atma ready to pick up. I see no major problems with the system.
