Hello, recently I decided to make an alt because... well, sometimes I like having another face to look at while I'm questing and experiencing the world of Eorzea. When I unlocked the aesthetician, I noticed that although I had completed the Lightning event on my main, her hairstyle was unavailable on my newly created alt.
Wouldn't it be nice if we would be able to have access to the hairstyles we unlock through events on other alts (if you have them)? Especially if the even where we earned it is no longer available. I would have loved to have the Snow hair on my new like mi'qote male. What do you think? I'm curious to see everyone's thoughts on this.

I think so too. I know that you can be everything with one character, but sometimes you like to switch it up. And why not, right?
I just think that it would be nice to be able to unlock those hairstyles or vanity things on our alts. After all, it's just a hairstyle, not something that is going to make or break our characters. I would have loved to use my Lightning gear on my alt, but I'm fine with not being able to mail it to him. The hair though, I would really love.
Come on SE, let us have the cosmetic unlocks on our alts ^^ -

Even though I don't personally care about having the Snow/Lightning hair unlocked on all my characters (since I hate the bandana on Snow's hair and Light's hair is overused), I still don't see why we can't have them already unlocked at the Aesthetician if we've done the quest on a different character. I'm an altaholic, so I have 7 characters on my account at the moment, and it'd be nice if more stuff could be shared between them, such as cosmetic items (even if the only real cosmetic we've had added to Jandelaine is the Lightning/Snow hair).

I would have gladly done the event to unlock the Lightning/Snow hairstyles on my alt, but the event is over. It would just be nice to automatically unlock any and all future hairstyle additions account wide so that those of us who choose to make an alt can access them.Quote:

I think everything and anything purchased should be account wide, no exceptions. mounts to glamour to dyes..all of it.

I think there should be more account wide things in general. You worked for it once why do you have to do it again, at least for mounts, minions and event items (maybe some achievements and housing) it's not like you get it for free. I actually assume the event items aren't shared so people have to buy them. Maybe if there was a GLAMOUR CLOSET system something like shared event glamour would be possible.
But even then I'm not sure that would be happening. So yeah my focus is more on items than hair but in general I agree.
