Cosmetic features should be account wide

Hello, recently I decided to make an alt because... well, sometimes I like having another face to look at while I'm questing and experiencing the world of Eorzea. When I unlocked the aesthetician, I noticed that although I had completed the Lightning event on my main, her hairstyle was unavailable on my newly created alt.

Wouldn't it be nice if we would be able to have access to the hairstyles we unlock through events on other alts (if you have them)? Especially if the even where we earned it is no longer available. I would have loved to have the Snow hair on my new like mi'qote male. What do you think? I'm curious to see everyone's thoughts on this.

Ill go with this. Would be nice to have some acknowledgement that some players like to use alts.

I think so too. I know that you can be everything with one character, but sometimes you like to switch it up. And why not, right?

I just think that it would be nice to be able to unlock those hairstyles or vanity things on our alts. After all, it's just a hairstyle, not something that is going to make or break our characters. I would have loved to use my Lightning gear on my alt, but I'm fine with not being able to mail it to him. The hair though, I would really love.

Come on SE, let us have the cosmetic unlocks on our alts ^^

Even though I don't personally care about having the Snow/Lightning hair unlocked on all my characters (since I hate the bandana on Snow's hair and Light's hair is overused), I still don't see why we can't have them already unlocked at the Aesthetician if we've done the quest on a different character. I'm an altaholic, so I have 7 characters on my account at the moment, and it'd be nice if more stuff could be shared between them, such as cosmetic items (even if the only real cosmetic we've had added to Jandelaine is the Lightning/Snow hair).

That's what I meant, sorry if I didn't clarify that. I just think we should have the cosmetics - current and future - unlocked on our alts. I would have gladly done the event to unlock the Lightning/Snow hairstyles on my alt, but the event is over. It would just be nice to automatically unlock any and all future hairstyle additions account wide so that those of us who choose to make an alt can access them.

As blah as that sounds, I can easily see $E doing this. But hey, if they keep the prices down and have sales... who knows.

Oh God, I seriously hope they wouldn't do this. I can see them maybe doing it for the vanity gear, but please for the love of the Twelve, don't do this for the hair. I was just hoping that if the post got enough "Like"s that the GMs would look into implementing it. It's just purely cosmetic and - in my opinion - a reasonable request especially if there are people out there who like making alts. Just a thought.

purchased hairstyles would be account bounded and every character on the account would have access to it.
Only quested hairstyles are character bounded. Every character need to do the quest to get the reward.
