[Suggestion] Extra GP for HQ hits?

GP takes a terribly long time to replenish as it is, why not grant us a bonus of some extra GP for getting an HQ item?

It doesn't have to be outrageous either, 15 would be an improvement over the current 5. It wouldn't affect Leves because they don't involve HQ items.

I think this would make life a bit easier, and give us more of an incentive to gather HQ.

I agree, this would be very helpful to gatherers, without being harmful to the game.

This is a wonderful idea. Wouldn't effect the rate of gathering shards, either.

Exactly. It also wouldn't benefit the people botting, but still have enough of an impact to make gathering a little easier for the rest of us.

Wouldn't it be better if you memorize the slots? You can save up to 300 GP! :3

Not saying I don't have slots memorized, or even resources to tell what's where.

I just think it would be a nice QoL increase since GP is so valuable. It's not going to amazingly allow you another action necessarily, but it'll add to your GP pool so you can use more skills while farming items.

Such increase of HQ benefits botters as well,
as there're those who can sprint, use elemental crystal increase skills already.

I'd like to have a way to increase GP gain if the mechanism makes bot programs very very hard to break too..
Something like static graphic (or even animated aim like 1.0), sound prompt can easily be detected,
so any beneficial effects to legit players directly through gain rate (be it item / GP) pretty much helps botters more than legit players.

Its doesn't save you 300GP, since it costs you a swing, which costs you 300GP to get back.

It does save you 20GP for melding however. By using that you can start with 580GP instead of 600

I like the idea, but ultimately hq mats don't matter to crafters, some do but most don't,

yes I understand to people starting their crafting career they can matter, but they don't need or can afford a massive stack of hq, if there's to many it will just reduce the price of hq mats which hurts gatherers . plus in my experience I always get around 25-30hq per 100 items gathered, although it does depend on luck. which was always enough for what I needed.

No its doesn't, since the real GP goal is 650GP. 2 swings at 100% HQ, through either 2 extra swings or 1 reveal +1 extra swing= 600GP + 50GP for +5% gather skill so you can use the 100% HQ skill every time. Since gather rate caps at 95%, need skill to get to 100%

Love this idea.

I think the GP cost:effect Ratio, as well the leveling "spread" are way out of whack.

Leveling a Gatherer... Oh yay a new ability! I can barely if even use it once & at the expense of all other ability usage for quite a while. Oh boy!

One small problem with your argument : there are no HQ shards/crystals/clusters.
