Could you suggest me for :
1. How much acc should I need? (good or cap acc as lv 90 for T5 and may be T6)
2. What do you suggest for lv 90 gear set. Do you think that the new lv 90 gear set is the best?

481-482 for Snakes in T5, slightly under that is also fine though. Rarely will you miss at like 476-480.
Depends on what tank. It's better to just farm out the full Myth set, get the Allagan Jewelry and any other pieces you can pick up from Coil along the way. If i90 pieces didn't cost too much to get crafted they might be worth it, but right now either no one is selling them or they cost too much + need all the tome mats. The gloves are good for PLD since you can meld accuracy, and the head is good for WAR since you can... meld accuracy.
The answer can be summed up simply:
"The best you can get your hands on."
If you're trying to rank 'best sets' for the i90 tier, the answer is summed up simply:
Top rank: Coil Drops
Mid Tier: Myth
Crafted is variable, but is generally not "best in slot" unless heavily overmelded, and will cost you both testicles given it's just been released.
Accuracy comes with your gear. Don't worry about it. SE will tell you how much you need by putting it on the gear they expect you to wear. They're control freaks like that.
Apparently i am not high enough level to make my own thread. I have a question i am hopeing to piggy back off this thread. I got almost all the classes to level 20 in the beta weekend and then i deployed for eight months. I am just getting back in may and i plan on taking paladin to 50 as my main. How screwed am i in terms of being behind? think i could catch up to everyone in a couple months?
thanks alot man, put me at ease ^_^
Somehow, my lv 85 Pld has very low accuracy of only 430. So I feel really weird there when people need 480+ accuracy. That is 50 different.
So the 480 will need to come with "mix & match" only? because one set simple Mythology set or Allagan set would not get enough acc?
Question : you mention only "hand" and "head" for acc. You mean that body can not meld acc?
I plan to buy HQ body and pant lv 90 and max meld acc it. since I need 50 acc.
In tank gear you normally can't meld the stats the item has, because there is a limit for each item and stat, and usually you can meld only the stats the gear does not already have. You only know if you try to meld, I have tried with level 1 materia to check and it didn't accept more stats (I have not tried all gear nor all stats, I had read that this happens usually.) It's not you cannot meld, but the meld will add +0 stat and you lose the slot, so best not waste a slot.
I can't see my gear in this PC (not the best in slot, just what I have managed to obtain), but I have a lot of accuracy with a myth left side and mix right side, some rose gold accesories, some myth, some darklight I think.
As they said, you'll obtain higher gear much faster now with no myth cap, a lot of myth from CT and roulettes, and also the new soldiery tomes. As I see it, the goal is having fun while you level and get better gear, with no stress. There will be also lots of new players hopefully with the PS4 launch. Not everybody are full ilevel 90 and quickly gearing up with the new drops and gear.
OP
To answer your question which some people have failed to answer. Your best gear set is one that maximizes your parry while maintaining the accuracy cap of 481. Depending on which class you intend on playing will determine how this is done. I wouldn't worry too much about accuracy because you can use food to help you reach it (although not ideal) if you are falling short. HQ cabbage (can't think of the full name at the moment) will give you approximately 21 acc. My suggestion would be to go to XIVDB.com and use the wardrobe to plan out your best in slot list using the philosophy from the second sentence.
As for the acc cap in T6 no one has suggested any direct evidence although some may think its slightly higher than T5. Do not go with a single set (ie., all myth vs. all allagan) as doing so will not allow you to reach the acc cap. The best in slot set is going to be a mix and match set. For both classes you'll want the myth body, myth hands, and myth pants, the allagan helmet, and the allagan boots. The accessories will vary depending on the class. Paladin uses more allagan, while warrior uses more of a mix.
Lastly, NEVER EVER EVER use the Vortex Ring of Fending that drops from garuda extreme. It is just awful and any tank wearing should be hit with a wet noodle.
If you want a more specific or detailed list I would recommend searching the web for best in slot list. There is a paladin compendium on here that explains the best in slot list pre 2.2. and I'm sure there is a warrior one as well (just not as detailed as the pld one).
PS DAMMIT ALL TO HELL WITH THIS 1000 CHARACTER LIMIT
