I did the Lightning Returns event in FFXIV and my save file for FFXIV is on my PS3 but this costume didn't unlock when I got Lightning Returns today.
Do I got to do something else to unlock the Miquote costume in Lightning Returns.

Just curious, how is that game? I have XIII, and really am not that big of a fan of Lightning. Is the gameplay itself nice? Or is it basically just a Lightning fan service title?
Cool, I should put my PS3 to use then. And no I don't hate Lightning. She's just not my type. The face, I mean.
Yeaaa okay... I disliked XIII because it was "popular" and not because it was quite literally one endless hallway broken up by the occasional cutscene. I learn something new about myself everyday.
I'm sure it also had nothing to do with how horrible the cast of characters were this time around... certainly not that.
I wasn't talking about XIII specifically, I was talking about the FF franchise. If that game was released as a non-FF game, it will get decent reviews. If you want a good story, the game needs to be linear in order to tell a tale. Sandbox RPGs like most MMO's and single players like The Elderly Scrolls have very thin and fractured storyline.
"Endless hallways broken up occasionally by cut-scenes " is a criticism that could be leveled at every Final Fantasy except XI and XIV, and I'm not going to get started on the "horrible cast of characters" criticism because no one is worse than Tidus aka: "The Main Character You Could Remove From His Game and The Story Wouldn't Really Change"
There's a big difference between a linear game and a game that is literally running forward through a series of hallways for 20 hours. Final Fantasy 1 though 9 all had a sense of exploration and adventure that 10 lacked and 13 straight up threw out the window.
I'd argue that other games at least had TOWNS to explore in earnest or more than one freakin' hallway for you to walk down. I'd also argue that taking Tidus out of FFX would in fact change the story as the majority of the story revolves around Tidus x Yuna and their blossoming romance as they explore Spira together. I'm not sure I've seen a FF game since with that much flirtation/romance in just about every other cutscene.
Give me Tidus' HAR HAR HAR over Snow's "SERIOUSLY GUYS IM A HERO, THAT IS WHY I NEED TO REMIND YOU EVERY TIME I GET A TURN TO SPEAK" any day of the week.
Not trying to argue it was the best romance ever written or even anything above fanfic level for most of it but YOU were trying to argue that taking Tidus out of the game wouldn't change the story at all which simply isn't true and is a painfully boring deflection from my point that FFXIII had one of the worst casts in an FF game. It would be like me refusing to acknowledge Tidus has flaws because of the fact that Snow and Hope possess the collective IQ of a rusted shovel.
Seems like the Final Fantasy 13 hate stems from player's misguided opinion of what a Final Fantasy game is, we have a reached the era where players proclaims retro Final Fantasy as masterpieces whilst simultaneously hating on modern Final Fantasy titles even though they're equally as linear.
Thanks, FFXIII haters. Everybody who enjoys these games always looks forward to these threads, where you show up uninvited with complaints about the game irrelevant to the topic, and argue as loudly and obnoxiously as possible as to why, in your opinion, they are horrible games. The internet does not have enough of your sorts already.
I commend you for the time you take out of your days to educate us, the stupid masses who enjoy these games despite how objectively horrible you find them, and show us the error in our ways.
My hat; consider it tipped!
Look I won't argue that snow and hope are god awful (Particularly hope...Jesus kid you blame Snow for getting your Mom killed when she flat told you to your face this was her decision? god he's dumb, annoying, cliche....and hope is a girl's name) but every FF has had dumb and annyoing characters... Zidane was grating, as well as Garnet (good lord "From hence forth I shall be known as Dagger"..."The hell you will, you don't get to chose your nickname, your name is Puddles now!" Yuna might as well be made of Cardboard and Tidus is WET Cardboard. Vaan is a poorly plagarized Luke Skywalker, heck he even has a smuggler friend who flies around with a Demi-Human Sidekick, and pals around with a Princess.... 12 is a badly plagarized Star Wars is what I'm getting at... 7 is well. I'm sorry Sephiroth is dumb and if Tidus is Wet Cardboard then Cloud is the sludge left behind after cardboard has been sitting in a puddle for a week. and 8...oh 8 and your Amnesia Twist, your stupid stupid amnesia twist... oh yeah and Squall was a whiny idiot and the rest of his crew was forgettable. And these are just the "Modern" ones, 6-1 have their issues as well, but I've rambled enough... and to be honest considering how dull I found the chracters and stories could never get very deep into 6-1. usually gave up out of boredom pretty quick.
but explorable towns....yeah that save 'em...
While I wish the best for SE and I hope they make a profit out of it, 13 is really just...urgh :(.
I honestly have no idea how can players who played FF 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 think 13 is any good. The story, the characters, the settings, it does not feel like FF. I really hope and wish from the bottom of my heart that 13 is the end of this FF period and back to the glory days. Great story, awesome characters and villains. APR did a very good job, now I'm just waiting for 15 to pick up the franchise and restore faith, my faith at least.
P.S.
I really do hate you Snow.
Guess my question has been answered. I thought you needed to have done the event in FFXIV to unlock it in lightning returns but now I know you just get it by playing the game.
Despite the change of name it is still considered as part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Chronicles.
They already have plans to have FF15 to be a series since Normura already said FF15 willl end with a self-contained climax and FF15 is only the first part of a intended storyline.
This discussion is literally like argueing with a wet paper bag. Some character resonate with others, and some characters are well just poorly written or voice acted. A lot of it is the same sense of magic isnt present in us as when we were kids playing these. I know I could play ffiv more times than i could count, that game still brings back the sense of exploration imagination, power that I hadnt felt before. Nothing is cooler than the cecil paladin fight ever. Maybe the early magic of the old ff ruined it for a lot of players and they cant so much relate to the newer titles, I know I stopped after IX which I did enjoy quite a bit.
Fabula Nova Crystallis is based on various worlds and different characters, but each game is ultimately based on and expands upon a common mythos that can be freely interpreted by the teams developing the games. According to Square Enix, the only connection between the games' settings is a "vague crystal theme".
The main 3 games are:
FFXIII
FF Type 0 (FFXIII: Agito originally)
FFXV
That and don't forget that weird sexual tension between her and snow. Oh yeah and they made her more feminine instead of masculinity androgynous.
While I enjoyed XIII for the most part and XIII-2 even more due to the fact they learned their lesson from criticism of the first game being too, "On the rails", what I can't forgive is being presented with a, "If you want to know how this game ends buy DLC hurr hurr!11" in FFXIII-2.
No thanks, I'll watch the YouTube video and avoid your future single player FFs until I believe you're not going to pull underhand tactics like selling me unfinished products and then trying to cash in on player loyalty by milking them through DLC.
3 games and a truckload of overblown cameos for a character that isn't really all that interesting.
She certainly got on my nerves. I really don't mind basic characters, but it's all the over hyping praise and the need to shove and glorify her into nearly every game the company has to offer that gets to me.
Like she's the second coming of sliced bread.

tbh FFXIII was decent
FFXIII-2 wasnt bad but FFXIII had better impression
FFXIII-3 sry but the game lost my entire interest even the demo was meh
Where are the details on this Miqo'te costume? :3
I play XIV on PC, and XIII on 360. Are they linked through an SE account, or am I screwed because I don't have game saves on PS3?
Meow meow, nevermind :3
I liked all the characters in XIII. Yes that means Lightning, Snow, and Hope were good characters to me. I thought FFXIII's story, while straightforward, was not ultra cliche terribad. And I'm enjoying XIII-2 right now.
