WAR - full myth build and Coil

To start, I know ppl do coil for bit of stat "balance" but i believe this is just a lie. People do coil to get the i90 drops AND for the boost in accuracy to move on in turns.So since it takes even 1.5 smth month to get the full build with myth gear,including jewels, it's pretty balanced enough in comparison to the coil gear which you can get much more often by doing multiple runs.
To sum up, myth gear overall gives boost to skill speed and allagan gear boosts accuracy. Problem is that accuracy is the "ticket" to enter coil but myth gear serves no actual purpose right now. So if i get filled up with myth gear i wouldn't be able to enter coil? because from a simple calculation my acc would be about 425. In the worst case scenario, from the confirmed statement by Yoshi that there will be an increase in coil turns i hope there will be a new instance-raid that will not require a cap in accuracy and more "free" in terms of stats that gives top gear or the new currency to get the top gear.

If you want to be accuracy capped for Coil with 0 pieces of Allagan you can do this.

I think you might need to use food to hit the accuracy cap (and you should be using food anyways).

You can replace the Titan EX earring with the Darklight one and still hit accuracy cap with food.

Warriors are perfectly capable of accuracy capping without Allagan gear. I understand it's a pain to do (as it is for every class), but it's there to slow down progression. This is a MMO, and I doubt that the progression model will change any time soon. If they made it easier for players to clear content, people would just beat it even faster and then complain that they have even less to do.

Atm my static clears Coil and EX Primals on Monday in < 2 hours then pretty much have nothing to do for the rest of the week besides level other jobs (that we can't even use in Coil due to the lockout) or level alt characters (which some of us have done).

Anyways, bottom line really is that you CAN accuracy cap without Allagan gear, so this complaint will go mostly unheard.

The main and underlying reason you're not getting into coil is because of that scary look!

Jokes aside. I'm not too sure what your rant is about but from what I understand, I think (might be wrong) that you've no idea how to build your gear set in order to get accepted into coil groups? Considering you just joined the forums and made a grand total of 7 posts, I believe you haven't had a clue as to what you're trying to say (also evident by the conclusion of equal length to your "argument" (?)).

I would suggest that you surf around the forum first to find useful information with regards to building your gear set. If you still have any questions, make a new post, this time round, with a clearer thought flow and process.

Regardless, let me just say this, you wouldn't want to be in full myth gear anyway, since some parts of the myth gear isn't BiS.

The new coil turns will be harder then T5(assuming you can get past it as thats a requirement to continue) and you can just assume of the bat that there will be accuracy thresholds we'll need to meet for those new raids, I'm betting higher than the one needed for Turn 5. Accuracy isn't a ticket to enter coil, It's a ticket to enter only two turns of Coil, mainly turn 4 and 5. Turn 1 and 2 you can get away with example, the 425 accuracy you've mentioned because if you look at the loot tables for Turn1-2 tanks get quite a bit of drops with accuracy to help you move onward to the next turn. If you're having accuracy problems, primal weapon. and the myth gear's purpose is to be mixed up with Allagan to help max out your stats.. Majority of my gear is myth cause it holds more parry, allagan is only there to help me get my ACC cap for T5. It has a purpose.

I don't think you linked the right set because that set has Allagan Gauntlets, Ring, and the head from T5. lol

Anyway, with the Dual Haken I'm fairly certain you'll be close to 481 and reach that with HQ La Noscean Toast, if not HQ Stuffed Cabbage. You can also opt for VIT capped (at the least) Gryphonskin accessories, which all have accuracy on them.

Most of the Allagan Tank gear is from T1 and T2, which you can do in full DL w/ Relic. By that point, at least now, you'll be able to afford some Myth piece which will boost your accuracy (AF+1 WAR chest, for example). It is a bit silly that all the Tank jewelry has no accuracy on it, but you honestly don't need it. For example, my Allagan ring is -accuracy vs the darklight or hoplite ring, my Allagan belt has less accuracy than the Myth equivalent as well. The Allagan chest (T1 drop) gives me +10 accuracy vs the AF+1, but -10 Parry. This all allows me to reach 481 accuracy without food with the Dual Haken. So, basically, with food, full Myth, and the Dual Haken you can reach the T5 accuracy cap no problem.

Yeah read my other post. XIVDB wardrobe has weird issues with saving sets (usually just not saving them, and this time it wouldn't let me swap rings so I had to remake the whole thing).

Don't need Dual Haken to accuracy cap either. Although it definitely helps.

With this list, you can probably figure out why people would want to go to coil to get loot. You don't need to think too much into it, just understand you need to value parry over the other stats, and the accuracy should fall into place.

Here's my current build with 487 accuracy. Sure you can just replace the myth earrings with the Titan's earrings and still meet accuracy cap. The allagan pants is just there cause I got it to drop. Even without the dual haken, you're still at 450. This is using i90 accessories which have almost no accuracy on it which you'll be fine without for turn 1 and 2. As you can see, no drop from turn 4 or 5 here or food.

It's probably a silly question but how important is the acc cap?
I'm MTanking Turn 4 in full myth (I have coil drops but War AF looks so much better) with 450 acc and I have no issue with enmity. I'm sure my DPS contribution could be higher but we're still doing fine clearing DPS checks.
My point is the acc doesn't feel to me as a true requirement for a Tank and I'm concerns about people not getting into Coil because of the acc cap.

I'm currently crafting myself a full set of 2 stars accessories which will put me at 480 in full myth gear but I'm really doing that as a personal achievement as I want a good OT build as well.

It isn't a requirement until you miss your first Butcher's Block and get everyone killed.

T4 and 5 is where accuracy starts to actually matter, simply because you missing the pickup in the last phase of T4 or missing the snakes in T5 usually ends in your group face down on the ground. That saaaaaid if you don't worry about missing then it's fine to be below acc cap. It's just a lot more helpful for your group if you are, plus (if you end up OT) you'll have to basically be a DPS for all of Twintania and the more hits you make the higher your deeps.

With that gear, you will have to use food or make Griffonskin ring/Rose-gold earscrews cause it'll put you at 466 accuracy. For turn 1-4, you can use La Noscean toast HQ or Deviled Eggs HQ to meat the 475 accuracy req. It's especially important for us warrior because our wrath stacks depends on the hitting of our skills and if you don't hit, you'll build wrath slower leading to less Inner Beast up-time or even miss Inner Beast. For turn 5, I would either use Stuffed Cabbage HQ or make both of the accessories mentioned above to meet 485 accuracy req.
In all honesty, try your best to beat Titan EX. Ifrit EX is a joke and once you're done with Titan, the Dual Haken is pretty much up for grab. I beat them both the same day.

Little off topic but the melded I70 accessories are great for MTing as well. For whatever reason I'm much less spikey even with 500 less HP.

I would say for Warrior that myth gear with melded accessories is a great option.

Step 1 get the primal Axe.
Step 2 start running coil 1-2.
The majority of the Alagan pieces come from those 2 turns. Gloves are turn 4, head is turn 5. Everything else is turns 1 and 2.
Step 3 get some Acc food.

After consuming food, I have enough acc to reach cap.

During Turn 5, I switch my body piece to the Heavy Allagan Armor to give the extra +10 accuracy without sacrificing too much parry to get to accuracy cap.

I switch between La Noscean Toast (hq) and Finger Sandwiches (hq) depending on whichever is cheaper when I need to buy.
