They didnt fix 3 mans still?

I don't give a crap about increased marks and pvp exp from solo queuing because losing to the same 3 man group over and over and over is still losing and gets old really fast.

Thought this was going to be fixed.

I play bard and que solo and infact this patch has made pvp even worse for me.

Before there would be a about an 80% chance the game was going to have a 3 man premade in it, and there was a 40% chance I would be in that premade group as a soloer. But now as a bard that never happens because im ranged DD, all the 3 man premades are tank, scholar, smn. So now im always matched against the premades every single game.

This is wack.

Tbh they should have restricted the queues to 2-man only. There is no reason to allow for 3-mans imo...

you can still join with 3 man premade but u get same marks than before 2.15 i think but if u join as solo u get like 2x more wolf marks

The problem really isn't that the three man premade has over 9000% better chance of winning than a solo que. The increased winning rate is simply a byproduct of a bigger core problem which is queue times. As a solo que it takes forever to get a match while in a three man premade you get instaques most of the time. In 2.1 there was no incentive what-so-ever to try and endure solo que against other premades. In 2.15 the problem persists simply because premades are not penalized. Instead they actually increased the amount of exp and marks you get across all ques and enforced a weird melee ranged group comp which further increases queue times. Also by default the europe battlegroup gets shafted because we have a fraction of the servers and players that the other battlegroups have. As long as the three man premade gets more exp per hour than the miserable solo queue guy then ya dun goof'd

Yeah, they really should restrict to SOLO queue or 4s only.

Defiantly noticed an increase in queue times.

The double marks and exp is ok I guess, but would prefer no 3 man premade, and faster queue times.

melee dps on aether is instant pop, ranged like like 15m :( tank around 2m and healer same @ around 2m all for solo

losing solo is about the same xp as winning with a 3man, a bit excessive imo

I would just hope people actually 4 man now. Would be a lot more interesting assuming it's double the exp/marks for 4 man queues now too?

Just won a 4s match, received 81 marks (+5% buff). So a victory in 4s is 20% worse than a solo victory.... pretty fail.

The 3-mans probably just need time to catch on to the fact that their pugstomping is a less effective EZ win button now.

They can man up and grab a fourth to start facing other pre mades now. Better competition, win/win for everyone.♪

So..yeah..I just got 140 marks for a solo queue victory that took 2 minutes. Way better than doing premades..

Best way to ballance this feature will be to Wolves-den premade for 4 man and 3 man+1 and other for 1 and 2 man only.

Btw you'll ever chose the best way to easy win with premade Mrd+Smn

With the modification that Disease doesn't slow and Resurrction is locked out; I find the best teams are usually DRG+BLM for dps.

not seeing as many 3 mans now, actually I haven't seen any today which confirms to me they was just playing for easy wins and faster exp/marks and had nothing to do with playing with friends.

But anyway SE's fix seems to have worked.

Except for the part where nobody does 4 man 50's :( I want to play with my buds not solo queue

From my personal experience in PvP in 2.15 the supposedly golden patch that was supposed to fix PvP.. 90% of 3 man premades are rank 30 in pvp with full i90 pvp gears already. They don't care if they get less exp or wolf marks, they're still doing 3mans vs pugs.

At this point there are pretty much two different types of people that reached rank 30 in PvP from patch 2.1

The solo Que ppl that have nothing to do and/or can't really play pve well nor have the patience and the 3man que ppl who farmed off of the solo ques.

Everyone else that is tryin to get back into pvp for the supposedly balanced patch of 2.15 are still getting farmed on by the same 3man premades except now they're rank 30 and don't bother with the reduce exp or marks and just wants easy wins.

Not flaming anyone personally, but those that are doing this, you know its true.

Solo/Duo ques give terrible player experiences, I've been stuck in games that last 7 minutes because the other DPS does no damage.
We que 4s, the other team stops queing once we beat them 2-3 times in a row.

Queing 3s is my best experience in the game so far.

Um, if the difference is 3 people play or 4 people never play, if you're friends then that is a simple thing for people to grasp. No matter the party size it's always 1 too small, no different than if you had 5 people who wanted to play but could only do 4s.

It's humor.

Thought the issue with 3 mans are that there always two range type SMN/SMN BLM/SMN or BRD/SMN. Now you have to have a Melee in your party.

Queues should be solo or party, period. A duo should get shoved into the same PvP setting as a 3 or 4 man.
Additionally, this should apply to every bracket. No more of this taking 3 or 4 man group into 30 and 40 cap and steamrolling.

One thing I like to do is if I get my ass handed to me by a premade 3, I'll queue as the job they need with whatever crap job I happen to have, geared or not and pretend to know how to play it while I let them carry me.

You'll get a lot of wins this way and I'm sure it's annoying as fuck to the premades.
