Anyone else encounter bugged stoneskin?

I cast it on tank and even after 4mins of trash pulls with his hp fluctuating ,it remains on him. It was a warrior tank if that makes any difference.

This was in AK.

I have this same issue usually when I recast it on the war it reacts properly

Recasting did fix it.

I had the same problem earlier today.

Yes, I've had this happen yesterday, on myself and on the tank.

I'm not sure if it actually blocked the damage it was supposed to, or just put up a useless icon.

same here. cast it on tank, it last for more than 5 mins.

Yeah, I have this happen once in a while on random people. No idea what causes it, but I'm pretty sure it's just the icon glitched into staying even though the effect already wore off. For me, it usually happens on DPS (like BRDs, not the BLM who's using Convert). Sometimes I'll be the only one who can see it, other times they can see it, too.

I've had it happen a few times when casted on me while doing the Sylph fate quest. It seems to be tied to level sync I think. But I do not have any supporting evidence unfortunately.

Also, while it appears to be active on me, it is actually not absorbing damage after the total amount that it is supposed to absorb has been exceeded.

Yes, had it happen many times, but it's been going for one or 2 months already now, if not more.

While we're at it, it often happens to me, more often lately then usual, that I cast a stoneskin and it doesn't go through. I'm not talking about when the person is out of range, a normal cast that goes through by the animation but the icon/effect doesn't appear. It's especially frustrating when I already have to cast it on 8 persons. Am I the only one?

Happens all the time with Adloquium as well.

My guess is either the server isn't registering the damage absorption or, it just isn't taking the buff icon off when the damage cap on the shield is reached. Rather frustrating at times.

Happened last night doing Brayflox's Longstop. Affected the Paladin and Summoner. Recasting fixed it.

This happened to me twice and recently too. Once with stoneskin during a treasure hunt (the animation went off with both me and the tank) and once with Protect in CT. For some reason Protect just refuse to apply to one of the tanks even though I was standing right beside him. I had to spam it for a good minute before it eventually did.

Glad to see it's not just me. I wonder if it's the skill not going through or just an icon problem like the other one though....

The more I think about it the more I'm chalking he stoneskin one own to some kinda positional delay on my end as my FC mate was moving away from me at the time (still weird that the animations went off as normal though) But the Protect one the buff was literally not being applied as the tank made quite clear in chat with "EHH BUFFS" and "HEALER BUFFS?" xD

It is mitigating the damage (you get hit for 0 a few times on weaker attacks ect), but the buff doesnt fall off. Just watch hp like normal and its fine.
