With all the classes available to level in this game and the limited ways to do so, PVP should be a viable way to lvl a character LvL 30+. For instance, my PUG & WAR are classes that I only want to PvP. A PvP match should give the same amount of experience points as completing a top tier fate of that exact lvl range, plus a small bonus to the winning team. This will not disrupt the experience from quests or dungeons, or the story, as there are many classes to lvl and many ways to experience everything.
edit: I have been informed that exp is given to the winning team only. Should be both teams, however, winners should get a bonus. Same idea of running a dungeon and getting good dungeon exp, but bonus only given upon completion/win.

Even with exp reward it would only benefit mostly new players since the 2.0 Fate grind era made a lot of people max all their DoW and DoM to 50 fast.
It will be nice for another method of level but will feel like a slap on the face for longer played players as something that should have been added in the first place.
and you know what happens when player who play longer doesn't get any benefit from this kind of content. -

Hm...no. Progression via PvP is the last thing this game needs - It's a PvE based game. MMOs with a huge PvP focus, sure, but this game doesn't need PvP to become a central leveling mechanic.

When I did PvP, I did Lv40 cap, as my 42 WHM, and both my wins gave me a total of 50% of the exp needed to get to next level.
Maybe I misread what you posted, but you do get exp. -

For instance, if I run a dungeon or guild hest, I gain exp for each enemy killed, however, if I complete the dungeon or guild hest, I am awarded with a bonus. In PvP, this bonus should be given to the winning team, however, both teams should receive a good base exp that is deserving of their time spent.
