I recently bought FF14 a day or so ago (on ps3, a hard copy), and after installing it, registering the code, connecting my psn to my SE account (Finally) and trying to get into the game's client, i was greeted by this:

When you log in to Mog Station and select "Account Service" from menu, what does it say under Account Type? Also, what options do you see under "The following services are available for this service account:"? On my account, it has an option "Add PS3 Service" there. :)

Check the CD case again. There is a "Serial Code/Code De Serie" and a "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Registration Code." I say just make sure you input the "Registration Code" to get the free month.
On MogStation you can go "Account Services" -> "Enter Bonus Code" and input it there.

Yes, sorry, my bad. :( I haven't registered PS3 version myself so unfortunately have no idea what you should do. You can always contact their support center though.

Would it be possible for you to return it and get a refund? Downloading it off PSN should solve all your problems. If you buy it straight off PSN, as I did, there's no code to register.

It should be in Sony's XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format and needs to be registered on the Sony Entertainment Network (through an "Add Codes" option accessible in the PlayStation Store), not in the Mog Station. (Mog Station is used for PC registrations and will be used to add service time to any account, whether PC or PS3, but is not used to initially register the PS3 version.)Quote:
