No valid Service account is avalible to play FF14:ARR....What? :I

I recently bought FF14 a day or so ago (on ps3, a hard copy), and after installing it, registering the code, connecting my psn to my SE account (Finally) and trying to get into the game's client, i was greeted by this:

"No valid service account is avalible to play Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn.

In order to play FF14:ARR, you must first purchase the digital download from the PSS or register the product code

Can someone explain to me what Im doing wrong here?

When you log in to Mog Station and select "Account Service" from menu, what does it say under Account Type? Also, what options do you see under "The following services are available for this service account:"? On my account, it has an option "Add PS3 Service" there.

Check the CD case again. There is a "Serial Code/Code De Serie" and a "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Registration Code." I say just make sure you input the "Registration Code" to get the free month.
On MogStation you can go "Account Services" -> "Enter Bonus Code" and input it there.

i hadnt seen anythign like that (bonus code), but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Can you see option "Add New Service Account" under Account Services? When I click that it asks me for the game registration code, I think that's where you should add your game.

Isnt that for the PC version?
Im on the ps3.
(in speaking of that, why doesnt Square just allow ps3 players to input the product code directly on Mogstation...?)

Yes, sorry, my bad. I haven't registered PS3 version myself so unfortunately have no idea what you should do. You can always contact their support center though.
