We should have the choice. If you don't have enough for a 24 man party, then you should have the option of PUG/DF. But if you have 24 friends to run with, then you should be able to do so.
Running a co-op with players you don't know can only bring trouble. I am all for thinking the best of others, but NO ONE can actually think that 16 other gamers are going to be civil, cooperative players each and every time you run this. Especially when people begin speed running the tower over and over again for gear they are frustrated at not getting. These players are less likely to be civil to players new to the dungeon.
If these groups get paired with new groups who are learning the tower, it is a recipe for major trouble. I don't play this game to put up with hassle and bullying. It has already started. The slowest team gets harassed and this has only been out less than a week.
I don't run in DF. I belong to a FC for a reason. I play this game for fun and it is not fun to put up with crap from other smart-mouthed people who can't play for fun. I want to run CT with 23 of my mates.
This needs to be fixed. It will only get worse as time goes on and more people get frustrated with the gear issue. New people who are now working toward level 50 will be running this as newbies and will be paired with the previously mentioned ones. It is just not going to work.
Come on, Yoshi. I all for being altruistic, but you have to be realistic, too.

CT is pretty easy, so it isn't a huge problem. One of the groups I ran it with lost an entire party halfway through the last boss due to not getting out of the way of his one-shot ability and we won it without reviving any of them. My first group I ran it with wiped a few times throughout with almost entirely new ppl and it still wasn't too hard

CT is now my least favorite dungeon due to this. My first experience was tonight and there was no teamwork whatsoever. Nobody on the same page. We beat it with 10 mins left. Awful, lucky we beat it at all. During king behemoth no other alliance but our own was healing our main tank. Every other healer was dpsing. Nobody cares about the other alliance and so we wiped constantly. Im sticking with primals and coil for the time being. CT itself is a fun dungeon though :)

Ive actually failed CT some times because some parties just cant seem to do what needs to be done on behemoth which is very anoying.

But sometimes you get people or groups who either won't or can't do what's expected of them. Bringing your own full group of 24 minimizes this risk.Quote:

And you can do the raid with a few people been KO'ed so its not even that big of a deal if one or two useless peops get in. -

But I don't think its an awful thing that one raid (which a lot of people are saying doesn't matter because it gives out gear that's below their current gear levels) makes you team up with unknowns. Every other dungeon and (the other) raid lets you go in with a full party so there's none of the uncertainty that comes with the Duty Finder. This is the only one, and for that, I don't see it as a big deal.Quote:
