Duty Finder Roulette rewards need to be tuned a bit more. The amount of time it takes to level via dungeons is still quite a bit slower than FATE grinding.
Also, just two days after the patch, the amount of time it takes to get into a run is back to pre-patch levels for DPS. The reason for this is the mediocre rewards given for needed classes. The needed class rewards should be more compelling so that they actually encourage people those classes to sign up and play.
Please relook at rewards and consider further tuning.

The EXP is great and it will just get better the higher level you are. I did Sastasha on my 49drg was getting like 749 exp per kill and at the end I got 217k bonus+ like 8k or something. I did one last night on level 30 war cause the low level was tank bonus was tam tara and was like 729 exp per kill and I think it was 76k bonus+ 10k.
In a way it doesn't seem like much but those mobs you kill adds up to quite a bit. And I freaking hate FATES! Its a nice change.
So the higher level you are the higher bonus you get. Heard someone did ifrit easy mode and got over 100k for 5mins of work. -

No way! I got a little over half level (early 40s) just by doing an easy level 20 Copperbell Mines yesterday. It may not be as fast, but oh well, its good to pop in inbetween FATE spawns while leveling. Only problem I see with it is you get no gear. Should at least give a chance to recieve a piece of level appropriate gear so you can stay up to date if youre level grinding.

OP is actually correct. Duty Roulette is worth using for XPing exactly once per day for the huge one-time XP bonus, but it's not worth it after that relative to FATEs.
Unfortunately, 2.1 has also reduced the number of people doing FATEs, so FATEs are also slower than they used to be. -

The only thing that sucks is that there's typically a shortage of healers or tanks and you won't get the DFR bonus playing a DPS normally. The XP gain from normal mobs was raised to a rather decent amount though. I was getting 700 XP/kill in Sastasha and got a 35k bonus for tanking. Last night I got a 50k bonus for tanking Ifrit. That's a really good amount of XP for 5 minutes of work. -

Doesn't the Roulette window say that the exp you receive will be calculated based on the level you're syncing from, or something like that? As in you'll get more if the job is a lot higher than the level you're synced to, and less if you're closer to the sync level.
