Why are the Allagan caster items being changed back?

How is this an error compared to the original intention?
Yoshi explicitly said they were changing Allagan Armor pieces that had the same stats as Mythology.

SCH has THREE Armor pieces with the same stat make up as Allagan. We needed them to be changed more than any class but only melee jobs are getting the fix?

Where did they say they were doing this?

People complained. A lot of the stuff people complained about after the patch notes were released are getting changed.

Probably because spell speed is a joke and because WHM also use that same armor? (which is loaded with spell speed). Unfortunately, you share allagan armor with those filthy WHM (I understand your pain, most SCH I know and play with hate WHM too)

I dislike the changes they made, they are worse.

And why do people think that all SCH and all WHM hate each other? Seriously people this made up rivalry is stupid. They both have a place in raids, its like pally and warrior, neither of them sucks, they just do better in certain areas then others...

I'm glad. Casting boots change was awful. Terrible. For both BLM and SMN.
I would have to buy myth boots just to get my ACC back and I'd lose crit for worthless spell speed.

The 2.1 notes came out less than a week after I got the Allagan boots to drop for my BLM. Glad to hear they are keeping it the way it was, saves me 495 tomes

Because if two pieces of gear share the same stats and one is for multiple classes while the other is for a single class you should change the one for a single class.

The casting boots messed with SMN, the breeches messed with crit WHM and the circlet messed with WHM that wanted Det

The JP patch said something like reverted while its reworked or something. I think the stat types will go back but with different numbers.

I am just wondering why spell speed is a bad stat for blm. This reduces cast time and recast time and we can by looking at the stat and cast/recast time find point per point and see its benefit. And yet we have no confirmed weighting on crit rate what percentage it increases our chance to crit.

SMN spell speed does seem to be a waste since ruin is the only spell that would benefit for a shorter cast time. Now if DoTs were affected by spell speed then that would change everything.

I didn't know there were a lot of complaints. If more healers had brains they would know the circlet was an upgrade for both SCH and WHM and myth is BIS for both healers so leg change didn't matter. Stupid revert.

Accuracy is king, so you can actually hit things. Then crit because casting an additional spell every ~20 spells or so isn't worth as much as any single spell hitting 150% damage much more often. Also the boot change was fixable for BLM since their Myth was the boot with the identical stats.
