What happened to the awesome PVP gear?????

Cant find the new PVP gear they showed, but all the new gear is there.
I know there are bigger issues at hand (housing) but I was really looking forward to this gear from PVP.

That is Frontlines Gear now. (which is still PvP), guess they figured it was too detailed to just be gear for regular PvP.

They made it too awesome so they are saving the pie for later.

Frontlines is a PvP system coming...whenever that's involving the Grand Companies, they mentioned this gear will be featured in it.

Frontlines is another PvP event that is more objective based vs the deathmatch style of the wolve's den.

They said they're waiting for the community response, which i assume how much people play it etc, so if you like that type of content play it a lot and express it on the forums i guess :).

Also wanted those sets, but was surprised to actually see 3 tiers of pvp gear and am wondering how the lower ilvl ones will compare to high ilvl pve sets, guess we'll see soon enough :D

While we do know it's Frontlines related, it's also very likely that this is top tier stuff too. So for gamers from WoW or SWOTR, this is Rated gear.

I like how you say there are more important things going on cough housing. Screw housing. I get on Final Fantasy to kill monsters and save the world and I want to look bad-ass while doing it. I can always go to my Minecraft server to look at the house I created from scratch. I'm getting really turned off by all this re-skin armor garbage. It is literally the biggest thing in this game that is pissing me off. 99% of my complaints about this game are there are barely any gear models out there that differ from each other. My other 1% of complaints are why am I not slashing more times with rage of halone.

With CT lockout and the housing ~ scandal ~ this gear was the only thing I was actually looking forward too and I'm not even a fan of PvP. ;__; And now I don't even have that. I don't want reskins and even if the top tier weapon is new I really feel so upset by this, especially since the images say The Wolves Den on them.

I was so excited for so much... where did my dreams go? ;______;

Dreams...coming in 2.3 please look forward to it.

They probably didn't have enough time to actually create the models for that armor, and instead of coming out and saying that, they changed their words around and said it was Frontlines gear. Which is great, since Frontlines is scheduled to arrive sometime between now and the end of time.

It says "The Wolves' Den" right on the pictures. >_<

Its all about keeping our expectations in check. We're getting everything they told us we would get. They showed us some armor they're working on, they didn't make any promises about when they would be introduced. I'm sure if SE could they would add this armor in now, but they have their reasons. So the only alternative is to never show us anything they're working on until right before they release it. I dunno about you, but I'd much rather them show us what they're cooking up ahead of time :D

That's why I was like WTH when I didn't see the gear. We'll what can we do? I guess just get as much Wolf currency as possible.......

If you read the patch notes there's ilvl50 70 and 90 pvp gear and the ilvl90 pvp gear requires rank 30.

Look closely what it says about dyes. This is a step in the right direction. Sure, we get to use same crappy models but now we can choose the color.

You're absolutely right, a reasonable person would be right to assume this armor would be available from the wolves den or even that it would be released alongside the wolves den. However, the Devs never said that it would be added with 2.1. So when 2.1 roles around and the gear isn't there a reasonable person would also think "Ah, I must have thought wrong" instead of insinuating that the Devs did something wrong, like some in the thread are.

I want this armor too, it looks awesome! I thought it would be added in 2.1 too! But just because its not doesn't mean the Devs did anything wrong, they just showed off some armor that's a couple patches away. We were the ones that made the incorrect assumption that it would be added with this patch.

And my personal opinion of the PvP gear we are getting is that it looks pretty cool :D Though this may be because I've never seen the armor that it is a recolor of (or at least I don't remember it), can you provide me with some info about it?
