Average Item Level requirement for entering Crystal Tower: 50.
Full Darklight Item Level: 70
Many of us will be running this dungeon MASSIVELY OVERGEARED. A party in full 90 will likely be able to pull the weight of 2 parties.

Just keep running it until you've gotten your item for the week. Its not like Coil where you only get 1 Attempt at an item per week. You can keep running it over and over and over, even after you've looted your one per week loot.

Assuming they don't remove the lock out in patch 2.2 or 2.3 you mean?

I thought the lockout was an item / loot specific lockout, not a weekly one? That's what I recall anyhow.

You can loot one item per week. Even if you don't roll Need or Greed for it and everybody else just pass it into your inventory.

Technically a little more, as there are something like 4 chests your party can open in a run.

I'm hoping for the Onion Pants myself so I can replace the Darklight ones, and use my myth to buy my Wyrm Gauntlets. The Pants are the item that shows the LEAST on a DRAGOON while playing him in his AF/MYTH armor.

Correct. Which, IMO, couldn't be any less WAR-esque. They need to stop just making tank/healer gear and make class gear. Warriors (even though in FF1 they were called Warriors of Light) aren't the gleaming light of justice in this game... the took the right steps with the AF, this gear makes no sense for a Warrior.

ilvl 50 so AK/WP. You'll more than likely faceroll it in DL gear, not even going to imagine how it's going to be like in i90..

Clearly, seeing as the minimum ilvl requirement is 50...

You could get a piece every week due to RNG.

I'm not blaming RNG though. But with that much loot squeezed into 1 chest per week. Players are gonna keep trying till they get something and in turn make CT absolutely boring real quick. That itself isn't really helpful to SE themselves too.

the BLM set is kinda weird to call it circlet though. More like a hat?

FYI
Onion Boots dropped from the first chest.
Onion Gauntlets dropped from the second chest.
I only ran it once so I don't know if there is a pattern, but just in case someone wanted to know.

We had mnk gloves in chest one, bard sash in chest two, healing chest in chest 3, and healing crown in chest 4.....I got what I wanted so I haven't run it again to see if its the same.

And they did. Dropped after the Behemoth (3rd boss).
