Fates Destroyed The Economy & End Game...Nerf Fates Buff Dungeons.

So aside from the problem where most classes dont learn how to play their class to their full potential because of fates; it also destroyed the economy.

There is no need for players to buy low level crafted gear or any low level item for that matter because its not really needed if players are leveling thru fates.

I leveled my PLD all the way to 50 with only lvl 15 armor and weapon.... Theres something wrong with that.

Aside from Spritbonding, the best money making options in the game involves farming/crafting things for other crafters (Tomes for 2star, Fleece, apukka, etc...)

I know they are buffing Dungeons to be more inline with fates but unless XP significantly higher in Dungeons, this wont fix the problem. Players will still fate Grind due to the fact that a dungeon que are long unless your a tank or healer.

Suggestion:

1. Make Fates FFXIV version of Notorious Monters. Make their timers Extremely Long, but make there reward really good. Possibly dropping BiS Weapon/Gear for their respective fate levels.

2. Buff dungeons similiar to how they Buffed AK and WP making Monsters drop Gil. That way players are passively earning gil while learning to play their classes to its full potential.

This was true the first 2 months of game but now Fates are dead unless your lvl 45+ +

Stop complaining and just play the game.

With the introduction of the roulette and increased dungeon exp i'm hoping it'll reduce queue times for lower level dungeons making the whole process faster in general too.

because it involves the economy. The most money is being made by selling things to other crafters. Not alot of money is being made from the DoW or DoM besides food and 2star gear.

How did you manage to go to lvl 50 with lvl 15 gear in FATEs? The defences are utter crap. Unless you just casted Flash a couple of times per round and let the others do the job fleeing away.

i just LOL everytime i see the whole "fates made you suck" topic. you always forget the REAL reason people suck. a lot of people are idiots and dont try. Fates are perfectly fine the way they are. they in no way affect how a player learns their class, and they dont force crafters to only make crafter gear. ive made hundreds of DOW/M gear and sold it with little problems given time. oh, and if you spend a little time to see what doesnt have any HQ items, make those instead of making all of the obvious stuff that everyone else is making. you make a lot more money that way.

No, that is wrong. I leveled up my WHM just doing FATEs. All I used was Virus, Thunder, Aero I & II, some Stone 2. And sure, Cure when needed. FATEs might be all right with BLMs, so one can exercise on how to maximize the DPS. But with some other classes you learn nothing.
