Can I please have my abilities back?

Seriously, I really just wish Paladin had the utility it once had. I miss Holy Succor and Divine Veil. It could breath life into a very basic sword and board job.

This. Seriously. All PLD is now really is 123 and defensive cooldowns.

And how did Holy Succur and Divine Veil make PLD something other than "a basic sword and board job"? I wouldn't regard those abilities as any more sophisticated than the current basic pair of combos and other various abilities.

I want you to point out, why these wouldn't be benefitial and provide a slight bit more complexity to PLD.

Currently all PLD has is defensive cooldowns "Block Rate Incease" "Defence Increase" and "Cover".

At the very least can be considered to be like 'Bloodbath' from Marauder, but it's still not the same.

I see the beneficial-ness. I don't see the "complexity."

I'm making a Warrior because it feels more fun, good thing they share myth accessories and allagan.

A choice over healing yourself/your party members of Flash for enmity isn't a choice worth having, apparently.

Once you have enough aggro, the choice is pretty clear. I stone skin/cure team mates while tanking. It makes me feel pro. xD

Look at all the utility we lost...

I really, really miss Aegis Boon as well as the other utility shield blocking had in 1.23. It made everything a lot more reactionary and rewarded good play much more.

In general I do like the ARR battle system more and especially like the enmity system redesign but totally agreed that pushing a button for flat mitigation is just really boring compared to 1.23 Paladins.

Things i would like to see buffed
♥Cover: this thing is all but usless unless someone is standing on me.
♥Circle of scorn: can we put some enimity on it please
Honestly paladin doesn't feel like a paladin in a traditional since I feel like i should have a healing buff for my allies somewhere.

I hope you're kidding. The paltry damage (because tanks do paltry dps) lost is worth more than a cure for 200 or 300 and the stoneskin worth 3-450 on most DD's. Not to mention, so expensive on small mp pools.
