Seriously, I really just wish Paladin had the utility it once had. I miss Holy Succor and Divine Veil. It could breath life into a very basic sword and board job.

Divine Veil

Blocks all physical attacks and grants a healing over time effect to all party members within range when Cure and Cura spells are cast on you by other players.

Holy Succor

Restores HP of target. When cast on another player, you also heal 50% of the amount restored.

I want you to point out, why these wouldn't be benefitial and provide a slight bit more complexity to PLD.

Currently all PLD has is defensive cooldowns "Block Rate Incease" "Defence Increase" and "Cover".

Aegis Boon

Recover behind the safety of your shield, increasing defense against frontal attacks and converting blocked damage into HP.

At the very least can be considered to be like 'Bloodbath' from Marauder, but it's still not the same.

A choice over healing yourself/your party members of Flash for enmity isn't a choice worth having, apparently.

Once you have enough aggro, the choice is pretty clear. I stone skin/cure team mates while tanking. It makes me feel pro. xD

I hope you're kidding. The paltry damage (because tanks do paltry dps) lost is worth more than a cure for 200 or 300 and the stoneskin worth 3-450 on most DD's. Not to mention, so expensive on small mp pools.
