How Lucky Am i ? Best/Luckiest monk in the world :P ?

Hello and welcome to my Thread

I just Wanted to share with everyone else what happened to me last week :P

i believe i have the perfect set for monk, with ultimate stats, cant change any piece of gear since i think in my opinion this works out the best and im happy to debate about it :P

Anyway this is why im saying im the luckiest monk lol

If anyone is wondering why i have low accuracy is cause i use Accuracy food and will be over the cap ^

Not that lucky, you can't wear both of those at the same time outside of WP...and who the fuck cares about WP.

Should have let someone else grab one or the other, and definitely figured out what gear you planned to wear at full i90 prior to lotting anything that says MNK.

Why does your character stat page have 565 str then? Unless you meant 602 str in a party?

I'm not full ilvl 90 but that's a lot. I guess I'll see how it is after I fill out my slots.

Actually i can , cause as i said i use Accuracy food and i get over the cap, so i dont really see the reason of not using both at the same time during 1- 5
Only changed Belt to get this accuracy ^

You got the best gear, not because you're the best, but simply because you won the loot lottery.

Congrats at least, you're going to get a big boost when 2.1 hits.

This is what i dont get , Monk is OP no need to make it even better by adding 10% more dmg thats just sick =/

on the other part i like the idea of allagan becoming ilvl 95 thats nice

Are we sure monk is getting a 10% boost? i thought that was dragoon only.

Though we are getting some damage increases from the ebhind oppponent skills.

But yea you are pretty damn lucky.

Congrats on the drops. You certainly are really lucky. :)

But... I hope you realize that having the best gear does not make you the best. Luckiest, maybe.

Rein's translation had 10% in reference to melee. Not sure but they did say we're getting a buff to GL.

Bit unrelated to original point of your thread, but I am sitting on 467 accuracy (with HQ Cabbage food) and I have like 99.87% hit chance on Twintania, I saw in one of your screenshots you had something like 480 accuracy, u can probably stand to drop some and put that itemization somewhere useful.

Back to related post, you jammy son of a gun, I have done coil from like the first few weeks and I've never seen the hands,belt or headpiece drop, got all the rest but those and getting the crafted HQ versions will do nothing for me in my current gear sitation (acc would go to low).

If you can please post your average DPS for Twintania, I'd like to compare ;)

You should probably try to exchange the Allagan pants w/ the AF2 pants and the AF2 head piece with Allagan Visors, that way you can rid yourself of skill speed while having sufficient accuracy(without food) and higher determination.

Hands: Allagan................ Earring: Maiming

Well 1st of all gratz on the loot, pretty lucky indeed. But I have a problem with your build and here is why. I see so many monks that stack crit and determination. and barely hit the hit cap of 472. Yet everybody seems to forget about the fact that monks also need the skill speed cap of 491. This is so your twin snake last through out your full rotation aswell as getting your GL stacks to 3 as fast as possible without using perfect balance. I hear alot of complaints from monks saying their GL wares of to fast, but they then just lack the skill speed. So on my monk I would never use the t5 chest. only the weapon because it gets buffed in 2.1 but I will need to balance out to get 491 skill speed and 472 acc. im using eft steak to get there. just some tips I guess. :) but again gz on the twintania loot.

Totally untrue. You don't need 491 SS. SS should be minimized as much as possible for best performance. The most you need is about 430~440 to maintain GL in rotation. To most new monks it seems logical (I certainly did at first ) that SS is important, but once to understand how it performs, you will soon realize it is least valued of your sub stats.

Highlanders have the highest Strength out of any other race.
Or is that question towards me? If so, +2 Stength
