I recently left a popular mmo thats been butchered because of whiners to come here and frankly I'm a little concerned. Looking through the forums I see virtually nothing but qq and people spitting out "nerf this" "nerf that" "nerf nerf nerf" and my question is, why the hell would anyone want 1 of only 2 tanking classes nerfed? This is the most asinine request ever. I very much enjoy this game just the way it is and apparently so do a lot of others. There is no valid reason that a class other than a dps should ever be "nerfed" and thats only if tanks are failing to keep hate off of them. Please, if you like shortages of tanks/healers, classes being constantly changed so you have to re-learn it every couple of months, tanks being one-shotted, healers that cant keep up, constant wipes and insane repair bills, do everyone a favor and go back to WoW.

I actually used Duty Finder to do Titan HM for the giggles and some PLD who barely broke 4.5k hp immediately assumed he was going to MT and rushed titan before I even had the chance to tell him if he would like to MT for the experience. Pld will still going to mitigate more damage overtime than War. People just like to complain, most Plds don't give a fuck now that war can't tank as well as them. As soon as that position is threatened, they scream OP all over the place. When right now, it is PLDs who are OP and the only reason they didn't get the nerf bat is because all of them would have cried if they were brought down to War's level. As soon as Wars are brought up to Plds level in a slightly different way, there is a problem. I wonder why...

Tank damage is a joke. Two warriors in a raid combined are just reaching the bad dps you are carrying... Pld has silence and War doesn't... Pld still has a tone of defensive cooldowns, including one that makes them immune to all damage... No reasons to take a pld... clearly.
Then there is the fact that Warriors are really really bad right now yet people are still bringing them into Coil. If people are going to take trash tanks into coil they will certainly take a great tank that maybe deals a tiny bit less damage. -

I just don't understand the hate between the 2 classes I guess, I'm currently leveling both Marauder and Gladiator and I love them both equally even though they both shine in specific situations. Since this is a game that allows us to switch classes so easily on the same character why not have both? it's not like you have to start a new character and deal with acquiring everything you've worked hard for all over again.

When its all said and done paladins are still going to be desirable for their superior damage mitigation. Those that are complaining underestimate what a powerful asset % based damage mitigation is. Its bland and unimpressive at a glance, but the math doesn't lie. And that math says Paladins will at worst have to share space in the same way White Mages and Scholars have to share.
Personally I'm switching to Warrior, but I preferred that class anyways. Only settled for Pally because it was more pug friendly. -

Whining is the natural response of the "gamer" to anything he doesn't understand....for example his class or other classes in a game and the specific game mechanics associated with it. Why put any effort into actually reading and correctly using your skills if you could just whine, cry for changes and then faceroll!
