Final Fantasy X/X-2 fates should be released

With the announcement of FF X/X-2 HD for PS3 we should get and event just like what we are getting at moment from LRFFXIII but have more outfits for example have aurons outfit for male or yuna's FFX-2 darkknight for female MRD/WAR's but that is just an idea or have a ronso outfit (like the halloween outfit) for DRG's

If it's as half arsed as the FF 13 event, then no they shouldn't bother.

it is a shame they are not going to do it but gonna have to keep faith and i agree akira to me it should more be challenging to get these special weapons and other stuff but its not would love to face Caius and his Valhalla army as a challenge

Because they can't do Events for crap.
They all so far, sucked even though my fave FF is X/X-2.

I'm ok with it as long as it's not a, "HA HA HA HA HA" event.

I wouldn't mind having Tidus's sword. That be neat and some minions from the game itself. :3

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in japan they're giving lightning an yuna outfit for pre ordering x/x-2. I think that's enough really. I don't really agree with all the cross game promotions.. i'd rather see xiv content than a promo event for other games

How about ff12 content. The lore is similar and the judges armor looks badass.

Think about it like this; Cross-promotion means sales, sales means profit, profit means progress, progress means more content!

With all that said, I'd be way more excited for a cameo event featuring the Onion Knights (*or their respective Freelancer characters) from FF3 (*DS).
Would only be fitting what with Crystal Tower coming out and all.

You do know that Onion Knight armour is already in the game? The helm was a bonus item included with the original version's Collector's Edition, and the rest of the armour was rewarded through a specific 'faction' levequest. I'm not sure they're still attainable in ARR though, but at the very least those who gained them in 1.0 still have access to them (I still have my Onion Helm for instance ;)).

As for a FFX/X-2 crossover event in ARR, I'm glad SE are not doing one - FFX/X-2 have long since come and gone - they're old games, so having a crossover event would not serve much (yes I know it's being updated in HD for PS4). But then I never liked X and X-2 much so I guess I'm just playing devil's advocate here.

I wouldn't mind a cross promotion events/ fates or side quests. In the end its optional and its just fan service. The lighting fates are surprisingly fun.

I couldn't care less about crummy old FATEs, but I'd love more outfits.

How about some more FFXIV content. That would be sweet.

Add instanced content for events, not zergfates. And rewards that dont become useless the moment u get them.

Umm, afaik PS4 isn't getting those ports (unless there's a source that can confirm it).

Yeah... after the initial rush, those FATEs have few people and you can fight the monster "as intended". It was fun seeing Lightning firing off Ruins and folding/unfolding her weapon against the Behemoth like she does on FFXIII.

I don't see why not, but on the other hand the game shouldn't become a billboard for other games I guess
