When i change to a different grand company will the previous gc achievements stats freeze or will i have to redo all the achievements again for that gc when and if i decide to back.

All of your achievements, seals, and other such stuff are kept. However, of course, you can't work on achievements or get seals for your old GC, and you also cannot use the gear until you switch back. Still, if you were quite masochistic you could get all the achievements for each GC. Good luck.

Just know that once you change, there's a 30 day wait until you can change again. The game doesn't tell you until it's too late, of course.

One of the main reasons why this limitation was created was because we really want you to have a sense of belonging when it comes to grand companies. We realize that the way people feel differs from person to person, but we appreciate your understanding on this. -

The even explain in the story, something along the lines of, you are choosing a company to help defend their respective lands, and it is a mutually beneficial relationship. I was just wondering about it. I reached the Lieutenant level, and I have 50K already, losing the new ones in FATEs. Bought the minion, Chocobo gear and a couple of things for crafting experience. Should I switch? Or can I still get promoted? I don't understand because when buying stuff there are actually six slots for the grades, with the second three grayed out.
