You mean the Armoire at Inns correct?
Those are rather useless as so far i have only been able to place 2 or 3 items
Yea, you can store your blue 45 gear in there and some event items but not all, it's mainly meant for unique / event items. But I posted this in the wrong thread taking this down, I put this in the bugs forum.
ok.
But i did also notice the seasonal items are not all storeable and taking up inventory space
I seriously do not get that Armoire, the least they could do is let us place untradable items there to free up the space we have at our retainers and our inventory. I have several Primal Weapons that my class can not use, and it would be nice if they could let us store them there.
Greetings,
The armoire has been created to store items that only have a single way of obtaining them. Due to this reason, we do not have plans to make it possible to store crafted items or items that come from dungeons.
However, we are looking into making it possible to store seasonal event items such as the ones that could be obtained during All Saint’s Wake and are planning to address this in patch 2.1.
Can it be extended to hold one copy of seasonal items that could also have been sold in a way? AKA I'm curious if you will be adding the Dream Hat Tunic and Boots, as well as the Usagi Kabutos, Egg Helms and such.
Edit: I guess egg helms are storable, didn't think they were since originally I bought them all like the dream set. That got me a few more inventory spaces.
So far the only things I could get in mine was a couple bathing suits and my 45-50 class quest armor...it's pretty worthless IMO.
Please make it able to hold the new swimsuits, the dream set, and the kabutos.
How about adding the option to store all of the unique gear pieces that have a green and blue color background that we can obtained.
Perhaps it could be extended to accommodate the 'custom-made' pieces from the beginning of each class? Each of these is only obtained during the beginning of each class and is a skin unavailable on later pieces.
Please enable storage of Primal Weapons...>_<;
The biggest issue with the Armoire is that you're taking the FFXI route...new event items are implemented and then you have to hold them forever until you can store them. Why is it not possible to store the items when they are added?
This years Moonfire Bikinis, Helm of Light, Moogle Hat, this years all Saints Wake costumes, Cactuar and Bomb Earrings, I'm sure those Ahriman necklaces you gave away in the Screenshot contest aren't storable.
This week will be the Lightning Returns event with 8 weapons and possibly 8 pieces of gear if you choose to pick up both sets on the possibility of Mannequins or when using Fantasia you decide to swap gender. That stuff is likely not gonna be storable.
I have a retainer for dungeon gear I wanna keep and I'm fine with that not being storable but the event item thing is just frustrating.
Since we cannot store any other type of items, is the team considering going the FFXI route by giving us Mog Houses with storage capability? In FFXIV the more furniture you had the more items you could hold inside. I wouldn't even care if, like in FFXI I'm forced to go back to particualr city in order to use the feature; just give us the convenience to store the items.
On a similar note, would there ever be able to "unbind" gear so that it can be sold again; hence reducing our items without being force to fully spiritbond them?
I second the motion of this thread.
The armoire needs a boost in items that can be stored.
I level multiple classes and crafters. My two retainers are already full to the brim because I cannot store away event items like the swim suits, the halloween body pieces and some other stuff.
Not very nice and causes a huge inconvenience. I truly hope the 2.1 patch addresses this in a proper manner.
And yes: Please make sure new event related items are added to the amoire list at the time they are added to the game. Not months later with a patch.
